Even though I have never met Coco, I have been organising his food, treats and meds for most of his life.⁣
⁣
Occasionally I get sent a photo, I hear he is great with the family.⁣
⁣
And yes I have several Coco’s on my books.⁣

Eddie (Tibetan Terrier, 10 years) & George ( Rescue Miniature Schnauzer 8 years) ⁣
⁣
These cheeky guys came again in April for a 10 night stay. They are very used to our home and yard and instantly take over.⁣
⁣
I’ve know them both since puppies and Pam & I see them most days.⁣
⁣
You may recall Eddie was diagnosed with diabetes. It was quite a rocky road there for some time, however he has bounced back and he seems a very happy boy. He just needs his insulin injection morning and night. Now that he is eating well, that’s all that is really needed.⁣
⁣
George is bonkers mad, however we believe he is starting to come out of his shell, not screeching at other dogs or humans. He even is becoming quite social with small dogs and quite tolerant of puppies that want you to jump all over him. It’s only taken 8 years, but we will take the win. Mind you it can all change in a moment. Whenever his mum puts in a food and treat orders, she also orders Bonkers pills. ⁣

They will be back at Christmas.

Alfie - Australian Shepherd, (Aussie) 9 years ⁣
⁣
Alfie returned for his annual stay, this time for three weeks.⁣
Of all our dogs that have come to stay, he is the most intelligent, also the most food / treat obsessed dog we know.⁣
He loves to stretch out on the bed at night and he will race to beat us there, yep he sleeps on one side usually on my pillow.⁣
⁣
We had lots of walks along the waterfront and the neighbourhood. He always goes to the car when we get ready, he prefers to go for his car ride to the waterfront. He is not, however impressed when I decide we are walking around the neighbour hood . His zest quickly disappears.⁣

Oh we love our Alfie!⁣

Our gorgeous girl Nina is recovering from surgery last week. She was very happy to see me today and trying to jump up as usual. At just over 4 years of age she has so far had a total hip replacement, knee reconstruction and now a torn Anterior crucial ligament. Her mum and dad love their rescue dogs and are quite used to the expense.

This morning Frankie & Nina went home after staying the past 30 nights. They are wonderful however it’s full on at times , they keep us on our toes. Now it’s time to clean & wash before packing a bag for our own holiday . We love you rogues ❤️

Friday afternoon Dozer arrived to his new home after being rehomed by his wonderful mum. ⁣
⁣
On Saturday I met Dozer for the first time and delivered his Freedom No pull Harness. ⁣
⁣
Dozer is an 8 month old Rescue Labrador / Wolfhound cross. Even though he is young, he is already over 30kgs.⁣
⁣
While he is reasonably good while walking, I suggested this harness just in case of any anti social behaviours and for his mum to gain control of any situation that may occur.⁣
⁣
During my visit he displayed some anxiety and hopefully a behaviourist will help with that on Wednesday. ⁣
⁣
It’s all happening for this young pup, welcome to the pack Dozer.⁣

I wanted to advise you of my retirement on 18 February 2025. I hope that this advice gives you plenty of time to make alternative arrangements with other pet sitters.⁣

All existing home care bookings will be honoured of course.⁣
⁣
We unfortunately will not be able to take any bookings after 1 February 2025, as we don’t actually know where we will be.⁣

- Home visits will also cease early February 2025.⁣
⁣
- Dog walking gigs will also cease early February 2025.⁣
⁣
- Orders for food, meds etc will cease early February 2025 as well.⁣
⁣
The business will cease trading on 18 February 2025.⁣
⁣
Despite the current cost of living crisis, the past ten years has been wonderful. I owe that to each and everyone of you wonderful people. Many thanks!⁣

I have tried my best to weather the storm and have resisted raising prices but at the moment, with all my costs increasing, I feel I must otherwise I’m going to get a bigger slap than normal when I next see my accountant, sorry in advance.⁣

Due to numerous requests, the Booking Calendar is back. There are some dates available, generally we are still heavily booked for 2024.⁣

We now prefer booking requests of a longer nature, and therefore will no longer accept weekend bookings that are not made in the same calendar month. We want to make it fair for everybody and for myself. ⁣

New clients are now also welcome.⁣

A 20% deposit payable is required after you submit a booking request online. Booking Form and Terms & Conditions documents are available for you to download, complete, sign and return.⁣
If we are unable to proceed with your booking after our Meet & Greet, your deposit will be refunded immediately.⁣

Any Cancellations will be updated in the Booking Calendar and be advertised on the Instagram and pages. You will shortly see some more spaces become available.⁣
