BATH TIME: Matilda's pups HATED their first bath. Clementine (the big little girl) was absolutely disgusted at the turn of events (her face says it all!).

We have been down with the flu so apologies for the slow response to messages. Everyone is on the mend, so of course Abby took the opportunity to roll in a dead rabbit 🤮 she found in the paddock. A filthy bath later and she is almost as good as new

Today we waved goodbye to Big Phil. Golden Retriever puppies are normally pretty chilled, but Big Phil was the most chilled, most relaxed (most lazy) pup we have ever had. He was the kids favourite for movie watching because he would crawl under the doona and fall asleep. He didn’t even raise his head during his microchipping and, as you can see by this photo, he wasn’t in the least bit worried preparing to board a flight to Brisbane today. We will miss you Big Phil but he, like all our pups, is going to a wonderful home.

After two long years Matilda has finally had her first litter of pups. Unfortunately we lost a few in the birthing process but we have 6 very healthy and happy little pups 😍

Anyone who has followed along for a while would know we have tried not once, not twice but three times to get the gorgeous Matilda pregnant! We had all but given up and began working on her career as a Vic Education dog, but we didn’t count on Pickles and his courting skills ! Babies ahoy!
