We've been looking for a way to become more involved in our local community and have decided that making a donation to charities/groups/events would be a good way of doing this. The donation will be made up of a portion of our honey sales, and if it's successful, we'll make it a regular thing.

Our first donation will go towards the fund-raiser that our son's school is running. Jubilee Christian College is currently holding a 'Hunger Busters' fund-raiser - they're raising money to help support children in Kenya as part of their International Learning Network. The funds raised will be sent over to the tutoring team in Kenya and will be used to provide food parcels to families in need.

We'll be donating 50 cents from every kilo of honey sold between 1st August and 13th Sept. This includes bulk sales and sales to wholesale customers.

Together we can make a difference - we appreciate your support.

Just a quick post to say that we won't be open this weekend - we've decided to duck off for a quick family camping trip.
We'll be open for business again on Monday.

Also, it seems we've been having a couple of issues with our mobile - I'm getting missed call notifications and random messages here and there. I'm doing my best to reply, and very much appreciate your understanding.

This weekend is the Yungaburra markets - hopefully the weather picks up a bit for us.

Contact us by lunchtime on Friday if you're wanting us to bring something in particular along for you.

We'll have our usual Apiary bits and pieces and our usual honey, wax and candles as well.

This week we'll have our usual flavours of honey - Rainforest Bloom, Mixed Eucalypt, Avocado, and Coastal Gum. And we'll also have a bucket of an extra flavour - Liquid Sunshine. Liquid Sunshine is a delicious, light honey with a bit of a citrus twist. However we only have a limited amount of this flavour - so first in, best dressed.

Don't forget you can bring in containers for us to fill - we have the bulk drums with us and its cheaper for you!

It's time for the Malanda markets again!

Let us know by Friday arvo if there's something in particular you want us to bring along. Otherwise we'll be bringing an array of apiary supplies, candles, wax, and of course, honey. We even have some honeycomb available at the moment.

We have our usual flavours of honey - Rainforest Bloom, Mixed Eucalypt, Coastal Gum, and Avo.

We also have a new flavour at the moment - Tablelands Garden - it's dark and sweet and strong. We only have one bucket of this flavour, so first in, best dressed. We won't have this flavour pre-packed, but will have all sized containers to fill on request.

All flavours are available for tasting 😋

Another product we have is small jars of the beautiful Liquid Sunshine honey with a piece of honeycomb in them - they look amazing and taste even better. They'd make a perfect gift.

We've managed to score a spot at the Malanda show! It's gonna be a big weekend, but we're looking forward to the experience.
We'll have some of our apiary supplies with us - not much displayed, but please come and ask us if you're looking for something in particular.
We'll have some gift packs, candle packs and other novelty items for sale. We've got some new teddy bear squeeze bottles for our honey - kid approved.

A quick post to let everyone know that we won't be open this weekend. We've taken advantage of the long weekend to head to the beach for a much needed family holiday.

We have a new product in stock! The question we get asked most is 'what can I do about small hive beetle' and in the last 2 months, we've lost count of how many people have told us they've lost a hive to beetle.
Well, now we have a solution that works better than almost anything we've seen - Topbait Plus. It is an Aussie designed and made SHB bait. It's a gel that gets placed inside the beetle bait stations. It has been assessed and approved by APVMA and has been proven to be very safe and effective.
Have a look at the photo and see for yourself how effective it is! This photo was taken by a local beekkeeper after trying the bait in his hives.
A 35g tube is $30 and a 60g tube is $50. We only have a limited number in stock, but we'll have more arriving soon.
Hopefully now we can all get on top of the beetles and keep our hives healthy.

We've managed to secure a stall at the Markets FNQ local market this weekend. The event is on Sunday the 14th from 8am-2pm at the Fred Moule Pavilion at the Showgrounds.
We'll have a good array of apiary supplies as well as plenty of honey for sale.

We're rebranding!! Having Tarzali Honey in Mareeba has been no end of confusing for our customers, so a change was needed.
It's been a long time in the making, but it's finally happening! Let us introduce you to Bee's Knees Honey & Apiary Supplies!
We still have the same great products and customer service, but hopefully there'll be less confusion now.
The mobile number will stay the same and so will the location - Dawson Rd Mareeba. However, we will have a new email address and a brand new website as well - watch this space. We'll do another post once everything is finalised.

We'll be at the Yungaburra markets this weekend. We'll have our usual array of apiary equipment - however, if you want something in particular, send us a message before Friday night and we'll bring it along for you. We often don't bring spare boxes or frames along to the market unless we know someone is looking for them.

We'll also have plenty of honey. Unfortunately we've run out of Sunflower honey, so what we have out is it. However, we still have 3 other flavours - Rainforest Bloom, Mixed Eucalypt, and Avocado. These are all available in both 500g bottles and 1kg tubs. And we'll have the bulk drums with us, so don't forget to bring your containers.

We will be at the Yungaburra Markets this weekend (the 27th). We've been given a different site this time and will be up the end closest to 'The Pit Stop'.

As always, we'll have all the usual apiary bits and pieces, but if you're wanting anything in particular, contact us prior to lunchtime on Friday and we'll bring it along for you.

We'll also have plenty of honey - both in the pre-pack 1kg and 500g containers, as well as in the bulk drums (don't forget to bring your own container). Unfortunately, we've had to put the prices of our honey up - just a little as we want it to continue to be as affordable as possible. The new pricing is as follows:
