I am originally from South Africa & grew up on a Game Farm with zebra and giraffes outside our front gate, so my love for animals grew from a very young age. We always had dogs, rabbits, hamsters, horses and the not so welcome reptiles roaming through our property. It was pure madness & I loved it. I have been a vegetarian from a young age, much to my families dismay. I am that person who would rather hang out with your dog at parties then people & my preferred choice would be to stay in on a Friday night because, well firstly I'm a mum, so mum life, but equally because hanging with my dogs makes me feel safe, happy & it's way more fun. Can't wait for you to connect & meet your fury family members.

We offer both enclosed/ semi enclosed & our normal adventure Adventures.
WE TAKE YOUR DOGS WHERE THEY BEST FIT
90% of Dogs that are booked with Gypsea Tails have amazing recall, stay close to our pack & never cause an issue. Why? Because they trust us & donโt want to get lost in nature.
Then there is the 10% that follow their noses & off they run. But they always come back safely. The owners have given us consent to be off-lead because they trust us with their Dogs implicitly.
SAFETY MATTERS TO US
โ๏ธ We make you fill out an extensive questionnaire before your Dog can join us.
โ๏ธ If local, we organise a Meet & Greet so we can meet you & your Dog. This takes as long as it needs to.
โ๏ธ We get owners approval on where they feel their Dogs will be safe in nature.
โ๏ธ We call owners as soon as there is an issue. Transparency is important.
โ๏ธ We stay away from busy areas that are not safe for Dogs.
โ๏ธ We go to areas we know well.
โ๏ธ We practice recall on our adventures & reward when Dogs listen.
โ๏ธ We keep lines of communication open with all clients & take steps needed to help Dogs who need extra support.
โ๏ธ We help Dogs in our care build their confidence with social skills which helps them learn how to manage their environments in a more positive way.

Our advice is to go with your gut, listen to your Dogs & dont put unrealistic expectations on your Dog.
We have been adventuring with hundreds of different Dogs close to 3 years, 7 days a week.
That is a great deal of experience & knowledge of how to care for Dogs in their natural habitat.

We love what we do because we get to be around so much love, daily.
Dogs love unconditionally & make you feel it when youโre with them.
Do they push our buttons too at times?
Yaaaa of course they do.

But Gosh theyโre worth it. Plus they put up with us tooโฆ

Abnormal behaviour from your Dog should not be ignored because whether itโs a mental health condition or a temporary ailment, you should always know when your Dog is happy & healthy!

An amazing service done by Taz in Margaret river!
She helped us bring our Dog for our elopement & was very attentive & helpful with whatever questions we had and accommodated to Danteโs needs.
Our Dog Dante had the best time with Taz & cried little on the way back cause he didnโt want to leave!
Taz took Dante into her care for a few nights & even brought him for many adventures! She was always sending us pictures/video ,keeping us updated about him and what they were doing.
It was very stress free!
She has a very strong knowledge about Dogs & how to take care of them!

๐พ Elopment in paradise We were lucky enough to be apart of an intimate elopment photoshoot in Gnarabup. The bride & groom tied the knot in Boranup with only their daughter, a celebrant, photographer & the brides parents in attendance. Wow, the intimacy ๐ค๐ค๐ค.. We were asked to join them at Gnarabup for some sunset photos with Crumpet, their adorable retriever who has well & truly stolen our hearts. This was our first (of many i hope) elopement & it will forever hold a special place in my heart. The weather was just right, the energy was natural & Crumpet was in his element being in nature with his family, happily smiling for photos. ๐พ A Special Kind Of Love These two have been in our family since 2014! Gypsea was our first fur child, followed very quickly by Indi (one month later). They have grown up together since they were 3 months old, & over time their love & bond grew. During this time they have only had two disagreements. One was over food many years ago (a bone to be exact). The second happened during the first time we started our business. The stress of allowing another Dog into Gypsea space, without a proper introduction resulted in an altercation with Indi. This used to be the way Gypsea handled herself in new & stressful situations. Outside of these two incidents , these two have created a beautiful & respectful partnership. They share these intimate moments infront of us almost daily. & I would love to be a fly on the wall for all the other occasions when we arenโt around. They are like chalk & cheese. Gypsea came into our family at 7 weeks, from a horrible backyard breeder. My whole heart sunk when I saw the living conditions & I stop myself thinking about the number of litters her poor mother had to endure. Indi came into our family at just under 10 weeks, from the most amazing family. They lived on the most peaceful & tranquil property. The energy felt wonderful. Gypsea could easily follow commands & by 12 weeks she was fully house trained & could; Sit Paw Lie down Lie down & rollโฆ She past puppy school with flying colours . Indi on the other hand could do none of the above, even by 7 months ๐คฃ (he was half pedigree as well). But they just worked, the two of them being each otherโs ying & yang. The day Gypsea was viciously attacked & ended up in the vets & couldnโt move for days, It was indi who lay by her side. They turn 9 soon. Exactly one month apart! Gypseaโs birthday is on 3rd December & Indi is the 3rd of January. They each have their own star sign. It has been such a transformative year for us all. Our Dogs have gone from n
๐พ Gypsea Tails Team Meeting 07/22Just like every other business out there , we also hold Weekly Team Meetings to discuss important topics.On the agenda today was around Lenny, the 9 month old dashhound who is arriving tomorrow. โHow Long Will I ๐ค UโWe looked after this sweet, gentle soul for two days (16 hours to be exact) & can you blame us all for falling madly in love with her.Her vulnerability was exactly what I needed in my life right now,she was very loving, nurturing & oh so bloody cute.Her proud owners havenโt had her for long (she is 9 months old) & mentioned she hadnโt adventured much or been to the beach.Knowing this made our adventures even more the sweeter.I imagined seeing it all from her point of view,the trees, forests, beach track & the unfamiliar feeling of sand beneath your toes.The first day she stayed very close to me,almost unsure of her abilities.However, by day 2 & being amongst the trees, close to the gushing water,she found her confidence.It was her first time meeting bigger dogs so we took the first morning slow with each new introduction.The group dynamics was perfect, two older dogs, two puppies & her.They all had other things to busy themselves with instead of bothering her,and thatโs just what they did.Itโs amazing how the universe sends us people, or humans to guide us or be there for us in certain phases / chapters / periods (short or long).&I am so thankful that her energy, so pure , calm, yet powerful. Impacted me, so positively. Itโs not everyday you meet a tiny dog that carries as much, or if not more, wisdom & grace then most human beings on this planet.We ๐ค you Chickie .
