Our Queen of the Nobleblues Kennel "Lucy Lou" has just given natural birth to 5 little lilac babies tonight.

Looks like she has a chocolate carrier in there too.

We are so proud of our adorable girl. 💙

It's so sad that the breed has come to this point.
Previously people would be very upset if their Frenchie had lost some hair...
Now we have people in this industry that are happy to alter the breed to the extent of now breeding a hairless version of the French Bulldog. 😥

It takes an exceptionally odd type of person to like such a strange modification of such an adorable breed.

I thought this was maybe a joke !

I've been breeding for well over 30 years, and as a registered breeder we have specific rules and breed standards to abide by.
A majority of breeders do the right thing when it comes to bettering or improving their chosen breed.

If someone wants to utilise one of our studs, their bitch must tick all the boxes of the particular breed in terms of conformation. We don't want our future pedigree lines to be sub standard, (believe me, it does come back to bite you)

This breeder is obviously not following the breed standards for French Bulldogs. Floppy ears are NOT acceptable, whether it be in the show ring or just as a pet.
These 2 girls should never be bred. Yes sometimes this fault happens, and their lines should stop right there, not to be bred.
Why would a breeder accept this genetic fault and continue the lines ??

Why ?
The only motivation that comes to my mind is.... "THE DOLLARS"

I know some members of the public do not care about this breed fault, and will still buy these odd looking Frenchies anyway.
It's all well and good to sell them on limited registration, BUT an ethical breeder would never let it get this far.

Just my honest opinion.

HEATSTROKE

We are coming into summer and with high temperatures set to soar, we want to make people aware of the dangers of heatstroke.
Dogs don't have the ability to sweat like we do, they eliminate heat by panting. When panting isn’t enough, a dog’s body temperature rises, and this can be fatal if not rectified quickly.

Please consider when walking your dog that the ground will be hot and they don’t get to wear shoes! If you can’t stand barefoot on a surface for more than a few seconds, then your pet shouldn’t be exposed to it either. This includes trays on the backs of Utes, where they are also exposed to the full force of the sun

The most common cause of heatstroke is a careless action by a pet owner, such as leaving the dog in a car while running errands, walking or running the dog on a hot day, forgetting to provide water and shade to pets that are outdoors.

Physical Symptoms of Heatstroke:
Excessive panting
Signs of discomfort
Unable or unwilling to move around
Drooling
Reddened gums
Severe signs:
Vomiting
Diarrhoea
Mental dullness
Loss of consciousness
Collapse

If you think your pet is suffering from heatstroke seek immediate veterinary attention. Remove the dog from the hot environment immediately submerge your dog in water till the dog stops panting or place a wet towel over the dog, keep wetting the towel, alternate between two towels as they can absorb heat from the dog.
