Stuarts picking up one of our "The Eddy" model, 2 bay dog kennel for his daughters Husky and Border Collie.

"The Eddy" is a 2 bay kennel with welping areas set 300m above the front floor section. They are 1980mm deep and 2065mm wide made out of 25mm Galvinized box section with 50 x 50 wire on the doors and seperating each bay. We use trim deck roofing iron to finish them off.

Callum sent me a picture of the 3 bay skinless kennel we made him. Well, was skinless. Callum had some left over tin from his new shed and fitted it all up. Looks the goods. A nice safe area for his dogs to chill.

Before our 2 bay kennel was finished I got a call from a friend about someone wanting a kennel. Eddy breeds Staffies and French Bulldogs. Eddy loved the cage and bought it at first sight. Thanks Eddy and Rae for choosing us to keep your pets safe.

So we decided to make a 2 bay kennel. For a couple of reasons. 2 days before Christmas our beautiful Archie got bitten by a snake. We took him into the vet and got him back Christmas day. Unfortunately, over the coming weeks the bite took its toll and we lost him. We were devastated.

A couple of months later we got another border, a mate for our Jessie. The 2 bay kennel was going to be for them. Our dogs aren't working dogs but we were going to use it for our dogs to sleep in or keep safe when we weren't able to look after them.

This is our 2 bay kennel with sleeping quarters.

Some good friends of mine were in need of a couple of new dog kennels for their working dogs. They own and run cattle properties and as most cattle farmers are, very busy. I was happy to help out to free up some of their time. We made 2 x 4 bay kennels to house their 8 working dogs to keep them comfortable and safe.

This is how "It's A Dog's Life" concept was born!
