Our main focus with the help of our dedicated foster carers, is to rescue and rehabilitate animals in need as well as provide sanctuary to special needs animals and in turn aiding the misconception that disabled animals cannot lead happy and enriching lives. ASSISTED REHOMING🐾🏠

Remi is a 2yr old Staffy mix whose family are regretfully needing to find her a new home.

Remi has a beautiful nature and has been loved beyond measure by her current family. They want her to find a home where she is very much part of the family as she has been. She is great with kids, good with cats and although can be caution, is good with dogs.

She is a quick learner and knows basic commands i.e sit, stay and lay down with the help of hand signals.
Apart from snoring like a truck😆 Remi really is a wonderful girl.

She is microchipped, desexed and up to date with vaccinations. Currently located in Frankston.

Sharing again to find Cindy her forever home. It has to be out there somewhere!

AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION 🐾 🏠

Cindy is a very loving girl, she loves your attention and especially loves cuddling up on the couch. She has lots of energy and loves her walks. She also enjoys playing with toys after some encouragement and enthusiasm.

Cindy is highly food motivated and is easy to train. Although her toileting has been a little slower to uptake and will need continued work and patience in her new home.

Cindy can be triggered by other dogs, she's best walked at quieter hours when she is less likely to see one, and people with neighbouring dogs will need to ensure fences are secure as she will do anything including dig or jump the yard to tell other dogs who's boss.

Cindy does have skin allergies that likely will require ongoing medication. It is managed without medication at the moment but is something her potential new owners need to be aware of.

She is 4yrs old, desexed, vaccinated and microchipped and is located in Nunawading. If you have a home where she can be the centre of attention consider applying by sending us a private message.

Missie is a 7mth old staffy puppy who was adopted but was not a suitable match for the family and has been returned.

Missie is a sweet and lovable puppy who loves nothing more then to play with her two doggo foster brothers and cuddle on the couch with foster mum and dad.

Missie is great to walk on lead and and has quickly learnt to sit and wait before crossing the road. She is also currently being crate trained and has shown to love having her own private space to go and relax and will even run to her crate when treats are involved. It just shows how clever she is with her fast learning!

She loves to play with kids but would need to be shown some manners as she does tend to get excited. Although she gets on superbly with the two male dogs in her foster home, she did not get along with the female dog in the family that adopted her. Therefore we are looking for a home where she can be the only dog in the home or with a male dog companion.

‼️FOSTER CARER NEEDED‼️

We are looking for a foster or foster to adopt for Lou. He is a young boy of only about 6 or so months.

Lou is so well behaved and loves the company of people and especially loves kids! He is so very affectionate and adores sitting on the couch with a blanket to curl up to you!

If he’s left behind he needs enrichment or a friend, but that’s quite typical of a puppy. Lou is great with other dogs and loves to play

Otherwise he is excellent on lead, can use doggy door and is toilet trained. He also does not bark.

Currently located in Albanvale but transport can be arranged.

Lou is arriving off transport at 10am this morning in Lilydale and needs a foster carer who can pick him up and care for him overnight. We have secured a foster carer for this boy, they can take him from tomorrow.

He is dog friendly.

Unfortunately I have come back but not because of my nature BUT because I have been escaping my backyard when I’m left behind.

My name is Jackie and I’m a rough coat Jack Russel.
I turn 4 in December and would love to spend it in my forever home with you.

Things you should know about me is:

I’m an escape artist - I will find a way if you leave home without me to escape and try find you, so if you go out without me I need to be left inside. I’m an inside dog and go out to sun-bake and toilet. I’m best suited to someone who is home a lot and not a full household. I love females and like males.

I’m still coming out of my shell, just be patient with me. I love cuddles and snuggling on the couch next to you or atleast very close to you, I’m a Velcro dog and will be very close to you as I’m scared you will leave me.

I travel well in the car and have no accidents. I love being out and about with you.

I am good with some dogs as I am still learning to share attention and have the tendency to grumble at them.

I love kids BUT need to be supervised around young ones as their sudden movements intimidate me and I will snap. I love to snuggle next to them for movie time, cuddles and will sneak them kisses when the opportunity arrives.. and if no one is watching I do have the tendency to take food off them😆

I go to the toilet outside or use the p*e mat in the laundry when every one is asleep, I can use the doggy door, I’m very smart.

I can walk on a leash with a harness, I don’t like the collar it intimidates me and my foster mum is teaching me to walk beside her and not run/walk off. I’m catching on so quickly!

I like to have showers but just give me treat afterwards, so I know I’m a good girl or else I have a sad face.

A bit about my routine:

*This isn’t permanent, I can easily adjustable to yours.*

I go sleepy time between 10-11pm and get up around 7am which I then go outside to the toilet and get a cookie as a toilet reward!

I get a snack in the afternoon and dinner is served around 6pm, I get wet and dry mixed up which I enjoy.

Things I don’t like:

I get scared of sudden movements towards me or loud voices. There has been lots of changes recently in my life and Ive struggled but I’m learning to trust again. I’m gentle and calm and am not a normal energetic Jack Russel but you never know I might change as my confidence grows.

I need a forever family that is patient, loving, caring and will reassure me that you will come back and you can love me forever💗

I’m Desexed, vaccinated, wormed, microchipped and currently located in Deer Park vic.

Please help Tara, we are devastated from her!
*Seeking foster or adoption*

Tara waited 18mths to be adopted after raising her 3 biological kittens and many orphans. It was finally her time! We were so happy when her home come forward. Not even 6mths later and she is being returned.

We are absolutely heartbroken for her and are devastated to have to put her back into the foster care system after her small taste of what it feels like to have a home 😭

Tara is 2.5 years old, desexed, vaccinated and microchipped and is the queen of smooches who once trusts you, has infinite love to give! She’s the definition for lap cat.

BORIS STILL NEEDS TO FIND A SPECIAL SOMEONE TO GIVE HIM A CHANCE😢 AVAILABLE FOR FOSTER AND/OR ADOPTION!

This boys eyes tell a thousand words. Although we arn’t too sure what those words may be, finding him at the pound on the kill list is enough to know that those words are unlikely to be very kind.

Boris has such a gentle demeanour and gentle attitude. He is calm and quiet when around the house. He walks well on lead, is unfazed by other dogs and his intelligence is shining through.

He is very hard to fault until he is left alone… That is when the troubles of Boris’ past come to light and his panic sets in. For this reason we are looking for someone who is home full time and/or potentially who works from home and can support him to overcome this fear which with time is very achievable we just need to be patient and understanding. He has already made improvement in the short time. Boris really needs someone in his corner- he has been failed too many times.

Please if you can find it in your heart and home to foster or foster-adopt Boris we know it would literally mean the world to him. He so deserves it. Please message us with any enquiries or questions.

While Buiser is friendly and affectionate, he can also be a little nervous and timid at times, likely due to past challenges he’s had to overcome. With a warm, patient home, he’s already showing signs of coming out of his shell and feeling more at ease. Oh how can you resist this d***y love bug? 🥰

Humphrey is available for adoption and a family out there is missing out on all the amazing things this boy is!

He is a gorgeous 1 year old with the most beautiful temperament and his story started when he arrived to us from a rural NSW pound off the euthanasia list.

Humphrey is desexed, vaccinated, wormed and in excellent health. He is a pleasure to have around and is super friendly with everyone including kids and other dogs- he currently shares his foster home with another large dog. He is house trained and has excellent recall even in the dog park where he goes every day to let out his beans and play and run. He can sit and stay on command and learns very quickly. His on leash walking is coming along very well but he can at times get strong when seeing other dogs. He has been out and about twice daily and he loves car rides.

Humphrey would suit an active family who will take him on walks and runs daily and will make him part of the family. He would not suit someone who will leave him alone in the backyard for long periods of time as he is still young and will get bored and lonely.

Humphrey is extremely loyal and loving and nothing makes him happier than to get a pat and be told how lovely he is. He need to be an indoor dog so that he can be with you and not alone, including during the night.

Humphrey is not tested with cats and small animals.

The following three puppies each need foster carers. They are 5mth old staffy puppies (two blue boys and the tan girl). *Mumma in the back of the first picture has a wonderful home to go too.

We would prefer them to be fostered individually so we are looking for three seperate foster carers. Their carers must be able to take them in for desexing in Lower Plenty and they will then be placed up for adoption🥰

The news we have all been waiting for…. MILO IS HOME🎉🎉🎉🎉😍 Finally after a rough 7 days in hospital our fighter has beaten the odds and survived the fatal parvo virus!! Biggest thanks to the veterinary staff involved with his care. Casey Pet Emergency and the team at Berwick Springs Veterinary Hospital went above and beyond to help him (and us) get through this tough time. It is so doubt one of the hardest blows a rescue can take. Milo has set us back close to $10,000. This is money that as a rescue organisation is valuable right down to every cent. We have fortunately been able to raise a fraction of the cost, but truthfully no where near enough to keep us afloat 😢 Although it’s great that Milo is ok, our doors are now CLOSED until enough funds can be raised to pull us out of debt and continue doing what we do best. If you have ever considered donating, even just $5 it would mean the world to our team who just want to help animals who need it. Oh how hard everyone is trying to get Milo better and we are all finally starting to see positive improvements! After a weekend long stay at Casey Pet Emergency, his sickness was at a peek. However through last night he made dramatic improvement and even had a few voluntary licks of food! He was discharged this morning with a much brighter attitude. Although he is still a long way from 100%, he is back at the local vet today and we should know soon if he is able to go home or whether a few more days in hospital is needed. Today makes day 5 of hospitalisation and our tally of treatment costs is sitting at $7,982.33 with todays treatments being billed this evening. It’s a huge cost treating parvo but Milo deserves a chance.
