When I first met Rottweiler 'Hank', he (unsurprisingly)🎵"came in like a wrecking ball"🎵... Not ideal for his kiddie and kitty housemates 👪🐈‍⬛, or his previous (apparently excess Alpha) dog trainer...

Instead, we went the extra Miley into Hank's sweeter sensitive side to find this gentle giant country singer type who could melt anyone's 🎵Achy Breaky Heart🎵

Naawww...*sigh*(rus)

So, here's Hank 2.0, happily ignoring a loud and feisty dog across the road, for about the first time ever ☺️🤤😆

This cool dude - or Duke - is called 🎵Bowie🎵, although he doesn't quite know it yet... He's still one of the 🎶Absolute Beginners🎶... still learning his name and other big 🎶Changes🎶, having just started his 🎶Golden Years🎶 with great new owners... getting some 🎶Modern Love🎶 from a great new trainer (ahem!)... and realising suburban life won't be 🎶Under Pressure🎶. Plus, how NOT to be a 🎶Rebel Rebel🎶 (especially with walks and recall).

I'm impressed by his intellectual artistry in lesson one (I mean, just look at him! Thinking hard = working hard!!)...

Bowie's got such hidden talents I'll bet you a lifetime backstage pass that his new family and he "can be Heroes, EVERY day"🎶

Maxibon's owner is STOKED with their new style of laid-back cruising together... Here they are🎵"Walking On Sunshine"🎵, as these two legends completely turned things around in their very first lesson.

"I still want to be able to text my mates or whatever", said Maxi's owner regarding dog walks, "and not get me arm ripped off!"

In this video, she easily retrieves her phone while walking Maxibon WITH JUST ONE FINGER.

At last, after three years of near-mayhem, A Star Is Born.🎼🎶🎸🐕✌️

We're rapt with this little rockstar Ludo the Keeschond (so much better than Tyler the Creator).🎵🎤

Ludo was named after a character from the Bowie music film Labyrinth and it's like he's grown a whole new set of ears on his walks, gained more swagger than Jagger, and slayed all his internal goblins.

In two lessons (!!) he's overcome heightened leash-walk fear & reactivity, lack of owner attention/focus, plus some separation anxiety, AND physical & aural over-excitement to doorbell & visitors!!

Give him an ARIA Award for Best New Talent! 🏆

Buddy is being less baddy and bitey with his beddy, as he learns it's for resting, not wrestling. He's also walking great on leash after only one training session, with his owner saying, "Very different than the past. Much more attentive... calm... compliant."

Next week he's learning cool dog socialisation skills (ie. "How To Win Friends and Influence Pupple").

Soon he'll be everyone's Buddy and a young, talented Leader Of The Pack (at the dog park).🎵🐾✌️

😍🐾Cutie of the Week🐾🤩 If Gus was in a band, it'd be called G U S 'n' Roses, because he's toning down the tempo & tuning those glam-rock ears into his owners' sweet acoustics. Or something like that... In lesson 1, Gus went from being a virtual non-listener, to learning "All we need is a little patience"🎵 on his leash walks in #botanicridge (or what he calls "Paradise City"). He realised there's always time to stop and smell the roses, while ignoring rowdy rockdogs.🙉😇 Then he went home, had a stiff drink and flaked out on the floor 💤😆 Like any "Sweet Child 'o' Mine", I look forward to his next big performance🤘🐕

🎵"All we need is a little patience"🎵 Piper was a jumper, runner, biter, sniper, but I've been walking her once a week for the last few weeks. She's still under 6 months old, so she does test her people's patience, but there's no way she'd ever do THIS when I first met her! Now, she often stops, listens and looks for directions as she discovers the less demands she makes, the more she gets.
