A teary announcement to share that our gorgeous Lori and Sienna will be pursuing new paths outside of UA in 2026 🥺💕
Lori has been with us since pretty much the beginning, back when Uncanny Animals was operating from the home salon. She has been absolutely pivotal in shaping UA into what it is today. Lori wears her heart on her sleeve and cares deeply, not just for the business but for every single person in it - staff, client and animal. Front of House is no easy role, it’s busy and carries a lot of emotional weight (e.g. Lori was often the one to receive news from clients about sick or passing pets, and then have to pass that on to the team.) Despite how challenging it could be, she showed up every day, worked incredibly hard, and was more often than not the source of our laughter.
And Lori’s sidekick and our beloved brushing demo dog, Lestat, will still be around for haircuts, just not curled up behind the front counter anymore. Little Busy is going to have a hard time finding people to boss around without them both! 😅
Sienna was our hallway hype person, white board doodler, undeniable life of staff parties and general good-time crackpot 😆 Their love for animals shone through all they did inside and outside of work (I mean what arachnophobic person adopts spiders? I’ll tell you who… Sienna! Coz their empathy > their fear.) The kindness and the joy they brought the team can’t be understated.
Thank you, Lori and Sienna. We love you both dearly and are endlessly grateful for everything you’ve given to Uncanny Animals. You have left your mark here in the most beautiful way. We’ll miss yewsssss 💕💕💕
