Vale Le Grand Pomme, or Sam as he was more affectionately known. Due to his age and ongoing health issues, he has been laid to rest.

We had the pleasure of having this beautiful man in our lives for nearly 10 years. He was truly one in a million, most of the time you wouldn't know he was a stallion, he loved to play with his kids and would love to have a chat with whoever was heading out the drive for a ride. He was incredibly cuddly and if you ever went out in the paddock, he would be right behind you, after a scratch and a cuddle.

I feel very privileged to have you in our lives for so long and also very proud of all the babies you produced. Everyone who has one of you kids loves them and comments on their beautiful natures.

After a rocky start, little one is doing well. She spent a week in hospital due to low sodium bicarbonate levels but is back home and doing well.
We try and always make sure that we have at least 2 foals in a year because having a little buddy your own size, we believe, is so important. Because she is the only foal this season we have decided to leave Odin and Rumi, the yearlings in with her so she can get some interactions and play.
Odin seems to be the favourite and they are spending more and more time together. He is very gentle with her, considering he seems like a giant compared to her 💚

It's official, we have one less sticky beak watching over anything and everything that goes on around here.
Boots headed off to a wonderful new home today and will be with her big sister Bacardi.
We couldn't be happier with her new home. I know you will do her proud Jess 💚

Our last foal for the season was born on the 3rd of January and the last foal at Beltana Park by Sam (Le Grand Pomme). He has been named Beltana Odin. The name is from Norse mythology and is associated with wisdom, strength and courage.

We have decided due to recently losing 2 of our young horses, one of which was very traumatic, to no longer continue breeding horses.

As we had already purchased 2 services to Pegasus Lodge Silver Sovereign these will be used for 2025 foals and will be our last foals.

Although recent events have really made us question humanity, we as a whole have really enjoyed the experience. We have loved every single horse we have bred and absolutely love seeing them go on to be loved and allowed to shine.

We only have 2 geldings left available by Sam, so if you are after a very special equine friend, please get in contact.

This is a very bitter sweet time for us.
