As of January 1st next year, a $100 deposit per animal will be required for new dog and cat clients to secure their booking. As a small business, we strive to maintain our operations, but the failure of new clients to notify us of cancellations or honour their appointments significantly impacts our productivity. Today, we incurred losses ranging from $320 to $500. Kylie, our sole cat groomer, dedicates Thursdays to her clients, resulting in a fully booked schedule. Moreover, we had a waiting list of clients eager for appointments, but unfortunately, it was too late to accommodate them as most individuals were already at work.
