It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Mandy 💔

Mandy was diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer 10 weeks ago. This afternoon we lost our beautiful colleague and friend.

Mandy was the heart and soul of Berwick Vet Hospital for the best part of 25 years and her legacy lives on with the standard of veterinary care we strive to deliver every day.
Mandy had a contagious laugh, gave the best hugs and wholeheartedly cared for every single patient that came through our door as though they were her own. She was a kind, generous and genuine friend. We will be forever grateful to have had Mandy in our lives 💕

🚀 Team Training! 🐾

Working in a veterinary clinic can be high-stress—caring for our patients with compassion and precision takes a lot of heart and focus. ❤️🐾

That’s why we kicked off today’s team training with a fun and surprisingly intense cup game (ok, it was no surprise, this lot are a competitive bunch!), because sometimes you just need to unwind, laugh, and let your competitive side shine.

After the laughter died down, we dove into our yearly core values alignment session, making sure we stay grounded in what matters most: exceptional care for our patients and support for each other.

And of course, we wrapped it up with a delicious lunch—because a well-fed team is a happy team! 🍽️

UPDATE: Rocket has found his new furever home with one of our lovely clients

Rocket is an approximately 7-week old male kitten and looking for his forever home! Rocket is full of energy and has grown up around other cats, dogs and young children. He’s a confident and very playful young man and would thrive in a busy home and would love a few furry friends to play with.
