Meet Maodou, a 13-year-old Toy Poodle who came in for some check-ups today and is always up for a cuddle with nurses Brooke and Sinead! 💕🐾 We ran blood tests, X-rays, and did some dental work—and we’re thrilled to report that her blood results and teeth are fantastic for her age! 🩺🦷 No teeth needed to be removed, which is always a win! 🎉

Her X-rays did show some changes in her neck and right patella, which could be causing her some discomfort. To help with this, we’ve started her on a monthly Beransa injection to manage any arthritis-related pain. 💉🐾

She’s doing great, and we’re so happy to keep her feeling her best! 😄🌟

🐾 Today was a big day for Swanny. He underwent anesthesia for a dental procedure here at AMC, and we’re happy to report that his teeth were in pretty good shape—no extractions needed! A big thanks to Nurse Sinead for doing an excellent job cleaning his teeth! Swipe for a before and after. 🦷

No matter how big or small we will find a way to cater to your pets, many of the nurses and vets spend most of their work days on the floor, believe it or not..kneeling, sitting, bending, lying or squatting so we can adjust to the personalities of each patient. It should be that way, providing a stress free, gentle and positive approach is key when it comes to handling pets at .

If you suspect your pup or dog has kennel cough, please let us know when you arrive for consultation/visits so we can perform the consult outside / in your car if that's okay with you and the pet ☺️.

Cute Bonnie getting some cuddles from one of our nurses Jayda, a very unique looking dog,according to Bonnie's owner she is a pug x french bulldog.
In for a spey procedure 👍! Our patients get a lot of cuddles and attention from our caring nurses here, we can definitely say, you can have peace of mind and be assured your pet will not feel lonely or stressed when visiting us . Young, old, pretty, ugly( is there one ? ) naughty, stubborn or stinky..they all deserve cuddles !😄

A beautiful bear, his name is actually Bear... a mix of Maremma x Kelpie and more...
He was in for a dental scale and polish today..although he had a collar that said 'do not pet', we made sure to ask the owner for permission and realised he was totally happy with it at the vets. The reason he had that collar was to avoid the public from running up to pat him without asking first, which usually startles him and will do so to most animals.

To which, one of our placement students go .."oh ! I get it, it's like you don't just go and hug a random stranger right ? " .. well, I guess yes 😄 Bear here, getting a good scratch, lots of belly rubs and praises for being a good dog.

When you worry and think something is not right with my pet, here is one thing to check..gums..tongue ..breathing ..demeanour...
At , client education is important to us..we provide tips and tricks in consultation for clients to take home so they can monitor their pets at ease ..things that can help when there is an emergency as well. Just one of the little things we do 😄.

Your pet can be in pain, is very sick or deteriorating if there is an underlying heart / lung disease or even a growth in the body.. internal bleeding and poor oxygenation are some of the reasons why your pets can have pale gums, collapse or start having laboured breathing.

Hmmm..some of you in the morning ? The look of ..don't talk to me till I've had my morning coffee ? ☕
This sassy cute thing came to us from the groomers after having a bout of seizure, thankfully she bounced back really quick with no adverse effects. Several blood tests and a full health check with Dr Uday was performed with further monitoring, after which back home she went to continue her beauty sleep after a big morning!
