We’re coming Into A super Full 🌕 Moon this week.
Please remember that wildlife, especially Kangaroos are more active during these periods.
Drive carefully and if you can, lower your speed to allow for roos crossing.
Remember, THEY DONT KNOW WHAT A ROAD IS. You are driving through THEIR home.
📱 KEEP MULTIPLE WILDLIFE NUMBERS STORED IN YOUR PHONE!!! They are all volunteers and cannot always attend- so saving many numbers and calling until someone says they are coming- is best. When you need a number, you don’t want to be scrolling Facebook or google, so look up numbers in your area and save them now 💕 Ask on Social media for a number if you don’t have one.
If you hit something, see something hit or deceased, Please call it into a Rescuer ASAP. If a kangaroo is hit but hops away….. please call it in. They can hop on two snapped legs and will die an agonising and slow death. Please call them in.
Please don’t leave them suffer on the side of the road.
