Hope everyone and their animals keep cool over the next few days. We keep cool by having him inside with the air con and as much water as possible, then we visit the beach when it cools down in the evening times and Marley absolutely loves it! Let’s try something different and ask each other questions and keep the thread going ☀️🏝️
What does everyone else do to keep themselves and their animals cool? Do you visit a beach, splash with water outside or keep your dogs cool inside most of the day? Lastly, what breed is everyone’s dogs? Marley is a 6 year old poochon. Bichon frise x poodle.

Hey guys, I’m currently studying my Dog Grooming Certificate and done a DIY grooming day and this is one of my first proper clips on Marley who is a Poochon and he is not the easiest to do, but I’m so proud of the job I did. I’ve had a lot of practice on him.
Would there be anyone interested in a discounted dog wash and brush for now until I get my experience and hands on practice up? Let me know. We’re in Hoppers Crossing ☺️

Tomorrow’s heat of 40 degrees, please keep a close eye on all animals, especially your pets and take extra care of them. They suffer in the heat just as much as we do, if not more. Provide colder water than usual and more often, cooling mats, shade, keeping them indoors at all times and definitely no walks. Adding salt into your animals food can promote drinking to avoid dehydration and your animals getting seriously sick. Wildlife struggle too, if anyone can leave out water for them as well, they would be greatly appreciative I’m sure.

I hope everyone stays cool, hydrated and out of the heat! 🙏
