I'm taking a little break from made to order collars and leashes. Primary school students are back at school tomorrow, YAY!

We're still in lockdown here in Melbourne 😞 but I'm looking forward to Art classes face to face with the kiddos after 2 terms of remote learning!

Anyone who’s been owned by a sighthound knows that a martingale (or a wardrobe full of them) is a staple of day-to-day life. These important safety tools can prevent our fast friends from slipping loose on walks and avoid unnecessary strain on their long necks. Although these collars are widely used in the hound (and dog) communities, they are often fitted incorrectly and left on during inappropriate times. The guide below was created to help give adopters a brief visual on proper martingale use! This is a NO SHAME post!! As loving owners we’re always learning and relearning, and there’s no shame in needing a hand in that process!

Pippa's Whippet Collars will be at the Yarra Valley Whippets Fun Day! Sunday 24th November from 11am @ Wandin East Reserve.

Come along this Sunday to visit us at the market stalls under the shady trees! We'll have a small selection of ready-made martingales, tag collars and leashes. First in best dressed! 😊

Stalls will have lots of locally made doggy stuff, many specifically for sighthounds. And don't forget there will be lure coursing - all breeds welcome to have a go or simply enjoy watching.

Bring along your picnic rugs and enjoy the Fun Day. See you there!! 🐕😃
