Beautiful Lizzie needs a new home!

Lizzie is a 4 year old cutie who was adopted in July 2023. Her mum, who loves Lizzie dearly, was diagnosed with terminal cancer several months ago and has now been admitted to hospice and very sadly won’t be returning home. A friend of mine has been caring for Lizzie while her mum has been in and out of hospital and is now tasked with finding Lizzie a new family.

Lizzie is an affectionate, playful girl who loves a cuddle. She has been spending a lot of time on her own lately so would be fine being in a solo cat household, but I think she would also be suited to a multi-pet household.

If you live in Melbourne, Australia and are interested in meeting sweet Lizzie, please DM me for further details. Lizzie is ready to move now and is currently living in Thornbury.

Cuddling Animals Since 1972

Hi everyone, my name is Abi and I'm very excited about the prospect of cuddling, walking and bringing enrichment to as many of your pets as possible!

I am happy to visit your homes (collect mail, water garden, take out bins etc) but am unable to offer sleepovers or day care at my house as my cat would become stressed (code for go nuts!). While I am caring for your furry family member, I will treat them with as much love and care as I do my own pet (code for spoilt rotten).

I love all creatures great and small, maybe not spiders but I'm working on that. I recently completed a Cert III Companion Animal Services with an end term goal of eventually having my own wee shelter rescuing older or abused animals that need special care and an abundance of love....I am a volunteer at the Maneki Neko Cat Rescue in Preston (http://neko.org.au), amazing organisation!

Caring for animals is now my full time occupation but I also work with humans occasionally at a theatre in Southbank. It has taken me a long time to come to the conclusion that I should be surrounding myself with animals as this has always been my happy place. I tend to be the girl at parties that gravitates towards the pets in the house. I have an intuitive connection to most animals I meet, they seem to know I love them instantly.
