Tomorrows walk (20/09/2025) will be run from the Alpha Canine Centre in Knoxfield starting at 8.30am, weather permitting of course.

Tomorrows forecast is for a high chance of showers in the morning so please remember to check the page in the morning, just in case we do need to cancel for any reason.

Please also note: Over Summer, I may also have to cancel the walks if the morning temperature is going to be too high to walk safely and comfortably.
I will try to post a cancellation before 8am as well as sending out an SMS alert.

Hi everyone,

It is with a heavy heart that I need to let everyone know that this will be my final year running the Dogercise Social Walks.
This is primarily due to increasing family and other work commitments.

As we are all aware, our lives go through constant changes and unfortunately we sometimes need to make difficult choices regarding the best interests of us and our families moving forward.
I am hopeful that other Alpha Trainers may wish to take over from me in some form, although I can not guarantee this will be the case.

I have had the pleasure over the past 10 years of working with so many customers and their dogs, helping them through their struggles and rejoicing in their success and making some genuine friends along the way.

I have personally learned so much over that time regarding how the method applies in real life situations, which has also been reflected in how the Alpha Dog Training classes have developed to what they are today.

No longer running the walks will be like giving up a part of me and as difficult as it might be but I also know that it is the right decision at this point in my life.

Regardless, we still have around 4 months left until I finish in early December, still giving everyone plenty of time to make the most of it.
