we are proud to have the name "della" as our prefix, as we have a small family of little miniature smooth and miniature long dachshunds who have been bred from well-renowned Champion bloodlines with sound temperaments and excellence in conformation. The Foundation lines of della are based on lines with solid temperaments. Our little family of girls are all PRA Cord 1 Clear by Parentage. We do not kennel our dachshunds, and they live as part of the family in our home. We live in a rural area, where they have room to run and enjoy daily freedom, fossick in the gardens, look for treasures, and to chase the butterflies, whilst we know that they are safe and at all times, protected . We have been showing Dachshunds for over years now.In this time we have successfully campaigned 4 dogs to Australia Champion. All of our dogs have great temperament and are great with kids. We will be planning on 1 litter per year if possible.Our stock comes from the Cogglyn and Stardayne kennels.

We have had mini smooth Dachshunds for the past years but only started breeding them in 2 We breed top quality dogs with exceptional temperaments, all DNA Tested for Cord 1 PRA & SDMD. Our oldest living dogs have lived till 6& 10years especially the two girls from our very first litter of 3 puppies. We pride ourselves on our puppies and adult dogs wonderful outgoing temperaments. I believe because I allowed new puppy buyers to come and see their babies right from 2 weeks of age. They are cuddled and touched and I believe is why they are so accepting of any humans and other dogs that cross their paths. I never advertise as my pups are sold before they are even born. breeders. Polbathic has a 12 weeks old male and female (born oct , 2023) available to re home.
Ludlow has not been a house dog however, sleeps comfortably inside in a crate without incident. He has been around children but not on a daily basis. He gets very excited when hens get too close to the kennel area.

The Rabbit (“kaninchen”) sized dachshund is newly recognised by the ANKC, the smallest variety of dachshund in the FCI show rings.
Our lines are imported from Hungry and Norway and in 2023 from Europe. I cannot thank enough the beautiful specialist rabbit breeders abroad who have supported and mentored me in this new breed endeavour, in Australia. We hope to breed a combination of these beautiful lines to produce healthy, conformationally correct offspring.
We have imported our first Kaninchen (rabbit) little boy Lukas an international Danish & Norwegian champion from Norway.
Our little girl Susanna is from Hungry & we achieved her Australian title in 2022.
We had the honor of showing our 3rd Kanitchen little girl Avrora in Norway in 2022 in which she she took out best of breed, BCC & and fifth place and show out of 130 competitors in Norway.
Avrora arrives in Melton early 2023 she has been imported from Russia & Norway. We are looking forward to show casing these special little dachshunds and are hoping the fraternity will follow.

We have a litter of mini dachshunds which will be available either on the Main or Limited Register with their Pedigree, from mid-late September . Our litter available is 2 boys and 1 girl, with two black/tans and one red. These puppies are from Aust. Champions, as well
In order that our babies are registered to required standards of the A.N.K.C. they are DNA tested for parentage, microchipped, wormed from the age of 14 weeks and will be vaccinated with their first and second injections which will be C3 and C5. We do not have many litters, but think positively that the puppies that we have are an improvement on past litters through careful panning.
Pictures can be supplied on request as will the cost of any puppy sold, as we need to be assured that the homes where our puppies will live, they will be treated with love, respect, and also afforded any health assistance they may need in future years, as well as being suited to the owners lifestyle.

Miniature Dachshunds are a small family based registered breeder in Melton . Our pups are raised in our family home where they are well socialised and receive full time care and supervision. Champion stock. Our focus is on breeding quality companion dogs with good form and temperament and we specialise in chocolate and black colouring. Our pups come with a full DNA profile showing disease free, a microchip, up to date vaccinations, up to date worming, puppy pack (blanket from mum, advice documents, small bag of food etc) and ongoing support.

We are regrettably looking for a loving home for our 3 month old brown color girl. Ella is lovely mannered lady. I retained Ella to hopefully show her but she is too anxious to put in the show ring and I don’t believe in putting her through unnecessary stress. It is with a heavy heart that I have decided a new home where she will be loving cared for and the centre of attention is what’s best for her. She is a very sweet natured girl. She will require patience to train her to be an inside dog.

1 boy and 2 girls, one girl and the boy are still available. We have one pretty red girl left. And she is now 11 weeks of age and she is ready for her new home. The Parents are show dogs and Australian Champions. Mum (Bessie) has done really well in the show ring and her father (Osca) was runner up boy challenge at the Melton Royal Easter show 2023 and did really well in the show ring as well.
They are PRA Clear and not affected by SDMD.
