WANTED TO BUY: Looking for a quality 2nd pony for my 11yo.
14 - 15hh. No bigger as wont comfortably fit in our float.
Gelding preferred.
Dressage education - novice or above. Rider is soft, kind and capable, currently competing prelim with scores in the high 60's.
Showjumping experience.
My daughter is focused on dressage and show jumping/ combined training going forward, with trails etc mixed in for fun.
Must be reliable, quiet/calm, sensible and brave. Something that gives a straightforward ride with good brakes. Must have competition experience pc, dressage, clinics, shows etc with a child rider. Happy with limited outtings if the temperament is right.
Can manage some behavioural quirks.
Must be sound and open to vet check including xrays.
Healthy budget, and willing to travel to find our next unicorn. 🦄

Where has the time gone ?
This special little man turned two recently & we’re very excited to be out showing in the new year 🥰
With Covid, the costs of living and a recent BIG move for us as a small stud I’m sure we’re like everyone else and are just trying to find the time to breathe 🧘‍♀️

✅ Yes Magic both paddock & hand serves
✅ Yes he has covered maidens with no issues
✅ Yes he lives with a wife but isn’t necessary - I forward him this opportunity as he’s happier with a paddock mate. Gelding or mare he’s not fussed 😎

I think these types of videos are important, particularly when you are looking to breed children’s ponies.

Magics temperament is nothing short of consistent. I’m sure they will be a few people who am questioning me letting my child care for our Stallion. However, this boy has been bred, handled and cared for perfectly from birth and for 16 years has been in the care of his breeder who clearly has done her job correctly!!
When I went to 1st view him, it was his manners around small people and busy children that caught my eye and I just knew in my gut that he was exactly what I was looking for in breeding children’s ponies. This was also confirmed when I met many of his progeny on the same day whom all had the most beautiful nature, and were all happy to be handled, even from a month old, by a complete stranger.
This is definitely more like a home video, but it shows the level of trust I have in him and this is on a daily .

Magic will be standing at start this year to a select number of approved mares so I am taking EOI Up until August 1st.

And lastly, he is an absolute credit to his breeder Monarch Lodge Tanya Matherson x We thank you for entrusting us with your special boy 🐎

Foal handling time is almost here kiddo !! 🥰
Our newest baby coming in for a few weeks of handling to make things a little easier on her very time poor owner !!
Handling is an essential part of these babies lives & we would all hope that we would not be in a medical emergency situation with a baby but sometimes it happens and if handling is done correctly and early enough , these little kids have a level of trust respect and self preservation to allow their owner to help them as
safely as the situation permits.
