Beginners agility is on today 5:30PM. please bring lots of soft treats (like prime 100 roll, cheese cubes, chunkers) and lots of cool water and water bowl for your dogs.

Please bring lots of yummy soft treats, your pups favourite toys, a water bowl and plenty of water for them as it is quite hot today!

Beginners agility lessons are still on at this stage. I will post on here by 4pm if we will need to cancel due to the weather.
Please make sure you bring lots of soft treats and your pups favourite play toys.
If you have a crate please also bring this for your dog to use when not working.
If I haven’t already seen your vac certificate please send that through prior to attending lessons. Also - please make sure your dogs are up to date with flea / tick / worming.

These classes are suitable for those who have already completed foundations/beginners training with me or another trainer and can demonstrate foundation skills.
Class times are to be confirmed but looking at 5:30 Thursday evenings commencing early October.

Hi Everyone. I am back from Perth and getting back into private lessons from Tuesday 13th June. Please use the online booking system if you would like to book a lesson.
Group classes will be on hold for a while until i can sort out some better lighting on the arena.

Edit: it’s raining on and off. The agility course is set but I don’t recommend running the full course due to potential injuries. But for those who need some contact practice before the weekend you are welcome to still come play.

Mock triallers: Novice agility starting at 8am. Novice jumping around 9am.
Please bring your we weather gear as it looks like you may get a tad wet possibly.

Puppy socialisation is NOT just about playing with other dogs.

In fact, too much uncontrolled exposure to other dogs can cause so many unintended consequences.

If you have a puppy, make sure you try to work on ALL aspects of socialisation, as listed in the bottom graphic.

Agility HQ rules for all attending the venue:
* Dogs must be fully vaccinated and on current flea / tick treatment
* Dogs must remain on lead at all times outside the arena. Do not walk your dogs in the long grass . (there is a mowed area for toileting)
* Dogs must be on leash in the arena or in their crate unless working. In group scenarios all dogs must be crated unless working or warming up / cooling down - and this must be on lead.
*Pick up after your dog
* Toilet is located in my house. No dogs are allowed past the parking cone towards the house so do not bring your dog to the toilet with you. Go through front door - take the right down the hall and its on the right at the end of the hallway. Bathroom for washing hands is next to toilet)
*No shoes allowed in the house. Please take them off before entering the house or you will have Tom to deal with. (The boot box is cheap - please do not sit on it to take shoes off or you will probably fall through it )
*Parking has been marked in blue paint. (hard to see until you are close. ) If you have a 4wd please park on the grass and leave the gravel areas for 2wd vehicles
*The electric fence is ON!! Please do not let your dogs go near the fence or the sheep. There are also ducks and guineas roaming - please keep your dogs away from the birds.
*For seminars and longer events i recommend bringing a gazebo or crate cover for your dog as there is minimal shade available.
*When the dog ahead of you is working please be warming up your dog and ready to go when they are finished. Please also ensure to sufficiently cool down your dog before crating.
*This is not a social outing for your dog. Please do not allow them to interact with other dogs unless otherwise advised. Some dogs that train at Agility HQ do not like other dogs in their face. (including my own).
*Please be respectful and kind to each other. We are all here to learn and improve our skills
*By attending the venue, you acknowledge that Agility is a physical activity for humans and dogs, and Agility HQ / Lisa Hagelstein cannot be held liable for any accidents or injuries that may be sustained by attending and participating.

🌟 2023 Class Applications Open Now 🌟

* Puppy Life - Next level up from puppy school - suitable for 12 weeks to 12 months.

* Beginners Agility skills - suitable for 12 weeks and older

Both these courses will run for 6 weeks commencing the 20th February 2023.

A bit about the courses:

Puppy Life -
This will focus on relationship building, engagement and mental stimulation. This course will not be based on agility however the skills learnt will be fantastic for you if you choose to continue into beginners.
You will learn skills that will help your puppy in the home and the community, plus building a strong bond and connection with your dog. The perfect next step up from Puppy School graduation. (Pls note i do not offer puppy school lessons)

Beginners Agility -(1 hour class)
This course will be based on the foundation skills that are required for competing in agility.

Class numbers will be limited so please send me a message if you would like to attend and i will send you the enrolment form.

Intermittent Classes commencing March - (These will be held on weekends when i am not away competing. I will post at the start of each Month when these will be offered. )

Strengthening Foundations - Revisiting your foundations skills and kicking them up a notch!

Agility FUN - Safe play for your dog for those who just want a bit of fun and enrichment for their dogs. (Not suitable for those who wish to compete in agility)

Lesson numbers will be capped for these to ensure plenty of working time each so please book in early to avoid disappointment.
