Animal Welfare League NSW - Moree Branch There are various Animal Welfare League NSW Branches located across NSW. These branches are managed and operated by dedicated volunteers. Do you love animals?

The purpose of our branches is to better position our organisation to assist companion animals in localised areas. We are a passionate volunteer run AWL NSW Branch servicing Moree, caring for abandoned and surrendered dogs, puppies, cats and kittens while we find them new homes. All our animals are vaccinated, wormed, microchipped and de-sexed prior to being rehomed. Consider being a volunteer car

Gertie and Jax are still waiting patiently for their forever home. Having been in care since tiny babies we are desperate to find them their own families. Gentle is a sweet girl shy at first but when she gets to know you likes a cuddle.
Jax is a timid boy and would love to be a shed cat but can come inside for affection.
They have been together from the start and cuddle together.

Willow is a gentle soul while his brother Basil is the braver boy, curious and adventurous. Both love to snuggle and cuddle. Raised in foster care since one day old they are around 9 months old and very well socialised.
They are best friends and would love to be adopted together is possible.
They spend all their time together.

DONATIONS NEEDED 💰

Louis, now affectionately called Lulu by her foster carer has had to be rushed to the vet today for care.
She is having to undergo some testing and the results will determine further treatment.

Our little branch are sadly quite low on funds due to largely decreased number of adoptions in recent years.

So any help to go towards big girl Lulu’s vet bills is appreciated.

Over the last week I have been on work placement on farm and have loved it. I especially enjoyed pottering around the shed, crop inspections and catching flies.

I’m a very sweet 3 month old foxy X (not sure who my daddy is) but I will likely only be a smaller dog.

We are in desperate need of dog carers to be able to save more puppies /dogs in need. We are wanting carers for the larger breeds to feel safe until we find their families. We have been contacted to take some into care.

AWL NSW volunteer branches offer the following services:

- Caring for surrendered animals - Adopting dogs, cats, puppies and kittens - Subsidised Desexing Programs for financially disadvantaged people to have their animals desexed - Fundraising and events - Building relationships with local Council and community groups to assist with animal welfare issues in the region

As AWL NSW branches are run by volunteers and are always in need of new faces to join their dedicated teams. There are many opportunities available to help animals at your local branch, some of which may include:
