Introducing Rosie 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
And now we come to Rosie, our breeding (to be) dog. She is a dog unlike any other that we have ever known. As we mentioned before, Lulu (our 8 year old GR) has a genetic condition that is affecting her eyesight and Rosie will put a toy in her mouth and the other end in Lulu’s mouth and lead her through tight spots in our yard. If anyone is sad, Rosie will be by your side. We say that she isn’t really a dog, she is human, it is almost as if she understands everything that is being said. We might mention a toy, and the next thing you know, Rosie has gone and found it. Rosie is never far from her ‘beary’ and will walk around all day with it in her mouth.
Rosie is a born caregiver. To be able to breed Rosie and to pass on her genes is a dream for us. Her kind and gentle soul will not only be a gift to the puppies that she will help to raise, but to anyone that is lucky enough to have a little piece of her in a puppy for their own family. Her spirit just needs to live on in any way possible, she is just heaven. Rosie will be due to come on heat in approximately August which is when she will be able to be bred. We are so excited!! ❤

Introducing our next little Golden girl, Lottie ☀ 💚
Lottie is 6 and is the quintessential middle child, when it comes to other dogs (she gets a little green eyed, wanting love if one of the others is having pats etc. never snappy but will talk like a husky to let you know about the gross injustice) but when it comes to other animals and children, she is the ultimate guardian. She is perceptive, gentle and attentive. We have several friends with children with special needs and Lottie is who will be the first to gently calm them down.
Lottie is a loveable little larrikin who loves nothing more than to dress up. She can go from a sad face to a smile ear to ear just by donning a set of reindeer ears. Lottie is not a lover of walks and thoroughly enjoys walking to the end of the street and then begins to ‘dead dog it’…which basically means I then need to coax a 30kg plus dog to move her little behind (read slightly plump) back to the house. Lottie also ‘dead dogs it’ when it is time to go out to the bathroom of a night. She will refuse to move until she has had a sufficient amount of belly rubs and then once she deems it to have been appropriate then she will complete her nightly duties. One of our greatest regrets is desexing Lottie as I feel she would have been a fabulous mum and genetically very good to breed.
