15.2hh 4yo lightly raced NZ bred mare. Retired completely sound in Aug last year. Spelled and done some arena/jumping work with young novice rider before coming back to her owner.

15.1hh 9yo gelding by Lucas Cranach out of a Danehill Dancer mare. This guy has been OTT for quite some time and has done a bit of everything. Quiet and easy to ride/handle etc. Unfortunately his owner no longer has the time for him and he’s going to waste in the paddock.

16hh 6yo mare by Nostradamus (Medaglia D’Oro) out of a Bel Esprit mare.
Unsure what she is like to ride. Rehoming as a broodmare unless someone experienced wants to try her. She is a half sister to a Grp 3 winner. She is a windsucker but this doesn’t affect her weight.

Broken in and ridden around the farm but never been to the track. Quiet to ride and handle. Completely sound blank canvas for an experienced person. He is Studbook registered.

3yo bay filly app 16hh by Impending. Unraced and sound but not showing enough on the track to to go on with. Lohnro/Encosta De Lago/Magnus lines. Has been spelling for 6 weeks and ready to go on with.

4yo bay mare app 15hh by Shamexpress.
Retired sound from racing last year. Has done some dressage and jumping with a novice rider.

FTGH:
3yo filly by Epaulette out of a Testa Rossa mare. Measured a touch under 15.1hh.

Retired 7 weeks ago after only 2 race starts. She does have a small chip in her knee so unsure if she would stay sound for riding or not and therefor is being rehomed as a broodmare. Other than this she is fine for riding, clean in the wind etc.

Will only go to an approved home.

Jimmy put together 3 good phases at Marcus Oldham Geelong Horse Trials over the weekend in the CCN2** class. I opted to take it slow XC and look after his legs on the firm ground which saw us drop out of 3rd place but super pleased and onto the next event with a sound pony in a few weeks time! 😆 Thanks to the committee, sponsors and volunteers for another great event! A nice way to end the eventing season with Henry winning the overall champion 5/6yo in
the Young Horse Classic Eventing Challenge Series for 2023. 🏆 🥇

Most people know I love nothing more than producing young horses OTT so was quiet excited when this series was created last year and even better to win it on a TB! 😆

It’s first season being run what a fantastic idea created by Zoe Gibbs who tragically passed away last year due to bowl cancer. Zoe personally donated all the prize money and rugs for the series and it was definitely well supported by riders across 5 events with over 40 horses in just our age group alone. ♥️

It was a cold wet weekend at Woady HTs but Henry put in 3 of his best phases, unfortunately not getting the score we expected in dressage but still managed to finish 3rd overall which secured him the overall win off the series! I decided to leave Jimmy home this weekend expecting the ground to not be great (and it wasn’t!) so with the season come to an end he’s started his winter spell early. My little team have done a great job all coming home with wins and placings at most events this season and I can’t wait to get the next lot of babies in ready for the start of next season.

Our results are certainly not achievable without the help of my team at home and events, my sponsors, my super coaches Delwyn Ogilvy and Brooke Glenwood Park and especially to my biggest supporters Dad Owen Duffy and Ann Black who come to every event regardless of where or the weather to help out. Now I’m certainly looking forward to a break!!

Baby Henry also made the trek to Heytesbury for the Young Event Horse class. Scoring a few 8s and 9s in his dressage with still a few green parts he wasn’t far off the leaders. He’s the best ride XC and jumped his usual scopey round of SJ but unfortunately an incident with my reins getting caught in my stirrup iron and not being able to steer and having to stop resulted in penalties dropping us just out of the placings. 😖 For everyone that keeps asking he’ll have his next eventing start in the final event for the series at the end of next month before going on the market!

Tonimbuk Horse Trials Inc. …nothing better than spending a weekend with friends…4 horses for 4 double clear rounds finishing on their dressage scores to bring home rosettes. 💪

Jimmy was his usual over achieving self this weekend at only our 5th eventing start. I had a bit of a brain fade in dressage and let him down, however he was close enough to the leaders and was one of only two in his class to jump double clear finishing on his dressage score which saw him finish in 2nd place, only a point off the leader! 😍 I’m so excited for this horses future to be doing what he’s doing so soon!

3 events in 3 weekends is a big ask for a 5yo but testament to this guys laid make nature he just keeps stepping up and improving. =2nd after dressage he jumped a double clear SJ and XC to bring home two rugs for the win in the 5/6yo Young Horse Classic Eventing Horse Challenge class and best performed OTT across all the sections. 🥰 I love nothing more than getting these young horses off the track and producing them and this guy as been no exception.
Thank you to Gisborne EA Horse Trials for a very well run event all weekend, this was my first time doing this event and I’ll definitely be back! Our class sponsors Horseland Sunbury and biggest thank you to Dad and Ann for once again following me around the state looking after the horses and I at events!

Fantastic weekend at Boneo with both ponies. Good to have the old Archie back jumping, unfortunately I cost him a rail in both rounds but he tried his hardest to go clear! And Monk was absolutely super. Her first ever rounds of SJ, I thought I was ambitious putting her in the 90cm but she jumped around all weekend with ease and so much scope, again just having a rail in each round because of my steering! 🙈 .ph
