Paolo is smashing his training and kicking goals.
We increased his distractions and tested his listening skills with some old exercises and taught him some new ones.
We worked on his jumping on the couch and taught him to wait for an invite. Not even my tempting food treats could trick him.

Still in shock that he was close to being PTS.
He has really settled in and fitted in nicely in his furever home.

The furs enjoyed some beach time before they joined us for lunch on Super Bowl Day.
We ate, and they worked. 🤣 Holding their drop step-aways, relaxed, and getting lots of great compliments from patrons on how well behaved they are.

Dollar (Rotti) has trained up a treat alongside his older brother Oscar, who is continually doing great things.
These boys had a session in walking together. Overall, they are doing well with just a little fine-tuning required, mainly for Oscar.
With kids going past on e scooters & bikes & also my boys helping out with distraction, they were put to the test and passed.

Louie recently had a successful camping trip with Mum & Dad using the tools that they had and continued to reinforce the rules.
He was a much happier and a more confident boy seeing me compared to when I first met him, which was great.
We first fine-tuned some lead handling skills with some exercises that he already knows before giving him some new challenges.
Louie finished off with some socialising. He did great minding his own business until Milo started to run around. Louie showed us his herding instincts, which I was expecting.
Something that we will continue to work on.

Lottie & Molly are responding really well to training under Mum & Dads' guidance. They both contained their excitement upon arrival with no jumping. What a turnaround!
They quickly learned the kitchen boundary and not to attack the vacuum cleaner.
We also worked on their impulse control during a long drop whilst the blower was being used and did an awesome job.
The pair finished with a nice successful walk out on the streets, and listened amazingly, and then a little socialising time with Milo in the mix this time.

What a happy duo Ted & Mabel are.
They both got to work on some very big important boundaries, being the front gate & the car.
These 2 are doing so well that they are now working on collar.
Going through all their obedience was seamless before we headed out for a walk. Ted still needs a little more work but is heading in the right direction.
They finished off with some controlled socialising, and it was great to see how much their manners have improved with the boys, especially Mabel.

Biggie has been working loads on his reactivity out on walks.
We have started to test him out in some more challenging scenarios with more distraction, and Mum is doing a great job handling and guiding this big boy.
We also taught him the "stand" command since he picked up everything else pretty quickly. This was some what a challenge for him, but once he worked out what was being asked and some guidance, he started to do it on the first command.

Biggie earned his snooze at the end.

Theo & Lizzy are doing great things all thanks to the hard work Mum & Dad have put in.

They did some off lead work, and we worked on some socialising, especially when the ball is involved. Theo is very ball obsessed & Lizzy is feeding off him and can get a little snatchy.
Big challenge for Theo to listen when he is in a free around a ball, but we got there. It's a work in progress, but it's definitely going along the right track.

Welcome, Paolo.
This gorgeous boy was 2 days away from being PTS but got the best Xmas gift ever
He found his furever home. He now has a big sister to look up to and some great owners who want to get the best out of him.

He took to training really well. He was a little nervous upon meeting him, but Paolo warmed up quickly and is quite the cruisey dog.

Introducing Lottie & Molly.

Both are off to a great start learning to do things when asked, learning all about tones, and with Mum & Dad guiding them along the way, they got to learn about impulse control under some good distraction to help them listen and make better choices.
They also got to enjoy some play time with Ryker so we can look at & start to address some unwanted behaviours that Lottie is experimenting with.

Ted & & Mabel worked on their "bed" command, which was a good challenge for them, especially when Mum walked out the front door.
We then used the front door to teach them not to barge out before heading out for a walk and tested the skills they had learnt at the local.oval.

Birds...birds & more birds = kryptonite for Ted & Mabel. They both worked hard on their impulse control and did a great job.
With how well they are listening, we put it to more of a test with some socialising.
To Mum & Dads surprise, they were on their best behaviour now that some foundation has been laid.

Louie is being super responsive to the training and is becoming quite the little superstar.
His handlers have been putting in the work, so we added some new challenges.
We worked on his manners inside, adding new boundaries, no stealing items (he worked hard on this), recall, and a "on your mat" command, then finished off with a nice walk.
Having plenty of tools now & new homework set, Louie is off on a camping trip to challenge him some more.

Candy has joined the family for a little holiday, so we fitted some equipment to her so their walks can be much more enjoyable.

Doesn't matter where these boys go and what they do, it's important that they have their listening ears on when they don't expect it. Practice, practice, and practice. A couple of years ago, Ryker got to enjoy his first paddle board experience. Of course, some training was added sporadically. :) 2 years on this boy has come far, but we are still waiting for a decent summer so we can get out there again. Where the hell is it?
