Therapy Dog Training event coming to Melbourne/ Mornington Peninsula 2025! Open to all breeds 🐾

We are excited to announce we are hosting a Therapy Dog Course in 2025 for Annie's Therapy Dog Training!

The Course is open to dogs of ANY breed, mix or size. The Course enables graduates to work in the capacity of paid or volunteer work across all states and territories in Australia.

Take part in a 5 day expert-led course filled with in depth and interactive training sessions which includes certification for successful graduates.

From basic obedience skills to advanced techniques, Annie will guide you and your furry friend every step of the way. Your dog will learn a high level of obedience and do testing in public settings. It includes everything required for your dog to become a certified Therapy Dog.

Annie's Therapy Dog Training is located in Albury and has people attend her training sessions from far and wide. Due to the demand of her course by dog owners in Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula, we are organising Annie to come down to hold a course down here.

Spots are limited and are expected to be filled quickly. We are giving people plenty of notice so people can budget for the Course and make payment arrangements leading up to the event.

Get ready to unleash you and your dog's potential and make a difference in the lives of those in your community.

Together, we can wag, walk and bring joy to all dog lovers with our amazing dogs!

Basic obedience refresher training for Jenna today! There was a dog chasing a ball off to the left and lots of distractions from Mako & Jenna who were watching. I’ve noticed lately that while out with the rest of the pack, her focus slips a bit. She’s just a bit over 12 months, so training is something we always stay on top as a group at home and out and about. I’m still using devon treats with her, as she is highly food motivated. As she gets older, this will fade out. I’m pretty on top of my dogs, with them having to respect the commands I give them. No getting away with ignoring what I ask of them. It’s definitely a safety issue having your dogs under control in all situations! Every time we relax, have fun at home or in public - it’s always a training session! #dogobedience #puppytraining

We had the best time today Mako at “Pups at the Pool” 💦 Everyone was blown away with how calm he was and not bothered by anything! He’s such a special pup 💕

Mako scent tracking a few weeks ago when he was 4.5 months old. Tracking seems to be a really strong suit for this little guy!

What a beautiful afternoon to get sandy & wet at Mentone today! Thanks to everyone for coming along! All the dogs were so funny with their antics 😂 We even made a group howl so some latecomers could find us 😂
