Ben will be a great asset to your team, he’ll back all day for you and will just keep trying to make you happy.

Ben is a 2 year old black and tan male kelpie who has primarily done yard work, backs with ease, works the side of the race and has some bark. One call and Ben will back up to you and backs away just as easily. His confidence is only growing in the paddock and is super easy to call and place. Ben works best with another dog in the paddock. He has worked dry cattle. Ben has done miles pushing up to a crutching trailer, dip, weigh box, filling drench races, etc and has worked ewes and lambs. He works off both a side by side and a 4 wheeler.
If you’re after a dog that is easy to handle and just wants to please you this is your guy. Male or female, Ben will work for you. Ben is the type of dog once you show him what needs to be done he’ll do it.

Jagger has started his career in hunting and is showing plenty of potential, he has already ran down several foxes and has a hard bite. He’s got a great nose on him too.
Jagger has a good recall and knows how to sit. He’s a friendly dog and loves a pat
We just don’t have the time to take him hunting and would like to see him being used.

Sheepvention actually gave us a few nice days which was a nice change! Bundy managed to make the Top 10 but didn’t have any success from there. Still very happy with how he worked. Congrats to all the place getters!

Renae made the drive over to Heathcote on the weekend for a very well ran trial
The boys performed well, HopkinsRiver Duck =3rd and Bundy 6th in the Open

Bud made his first final coming in 4th in the Novice on the Sunday while Pinpoint Viper only missed out by 2 points. Very happy with how the young dogs are coming along

Keilan snuck over to Hay with the team yesterday, all dogs working well but the standout two were HopkinsRiver Colin coming in 3rd and HopkinsRiver Duck 4th in the Open
Shout out to the crew at Hay for running another awesome trial

Spent 7hrs in the saddle yesterday mustering in 4000 lambs over 6000 acres of cropping country and a few creek lines, sore bum and a tired horse and dog but great to be out and about with a great team
Duck quickly learnt that it was much easier to ride then walk and proved that he is more than just a crutching trailer dog

Snuck over to Mount Hesse for another trial and very pleased with the team again
In a tight chase for the win, in a run off Marty just pipped Duck for Keilan and Marty’s first open win
Col came in at 4th and Bundy 5th
Duck also came home with a prize for the fastest time for the day and Col was the judges pick of the dogs for the open class

The team made us proud again on the weekend at the South Australian Championship in Lucindale, with 4 out of the 5 making the top 10 and time being the only decider between placings
Hopkins River Duck 3rd on time
Somerville Marty 6th on time
Bundy came in 7th and Hopkins River Colin 9th

Bundy also snuck in the open finally placing 4th and made the novice challenge final and placing 4th also
The dogs are pretty happy with their new beds! Thanks to the SAYDA for hosting a great trial and to all the sponsors

After a big few days of dog trialing at the Stock Dog Spectacular event in Mansfield, Keilan has stolen the show in our team with Bundy and Marty having a ripper week.
Bundy winning the improver section in the Australian Yard Dog and coming equal second in the yard section of the Supreme Stock Dog.
Marty come home with a big win in the 3 sheep section of the Supreme Stock Dog and coming second in the Novice utility
Keilan is very thankful to Ros for letting him trial her special and fluffy boy.

Hopkins River Duck gets a mention too, with him coming equal 5th in a huge class in the Novice Utility also
