Our float got another service and safety check on Tuesday, huge shout out to Brumby Floats for there amazing work, thank you!
Our float gets serviced regularly to make sure it is 100% safe for your babies to travel in.

With all this crazy rain, I do unfortunately have a bit of a back log on treatments as not everyone has the luxury of a undercover area, so please be patient!
In saying this please make sure that the is a dry safe undercover area for me to be able to treat your horse. Meaning no flooded paddocks/shelter area etc
Please also have your horse caught an dry as I do run on a schedule, yes sometimes things don’t go to plan but that’s also life!

If I can not get into your property safety with my float without getting bogged or the roads are flooded please let me know as soon as possible.
I do understand that with this crazy weather it is also hard..

Keep in mind the my hours are mostly during school hours an limited weekends even more now due to some person reasons. Please respect this as Id do the same!

If you msg me saying you needed a treatment or transport like yesterday an I can’t fit you in, and you have a go at me I’m sorry but find someone else!!

With all the recent rain an my kids being sick an now I am sick, all treatments will be postpone for the next few days so I can try to recover an get some much needed rest!!
I’m extremely sorry to those that I’ve rescheduled on lately but I’ve also got a bit on in my personal life.

October is almost booked out, if you are wanting an appointment get in quick. I have a few spots left for the week of the 24th.

Please note that our float is going in for another safety check an service, this is done regularly to ensure that our float is as safe as can be when travelling your babies!!

Please also remember that I do have a heat policy in place when summer hits.

If you contact me an I don’t respond please be patient as I am extremely busy, sometimes I also do need a gentle reminder msg as I do get side tracked in all the chaos. Do not feel bad about having to contact/ask me again!

Just some things to remember-

-If you do not have adequate undercover if is raining please let me know, so we can reschedule..
-Please also remember that treating in mud an rain isn’t ideal for your horse as well as myself an the owner/handler.
-Please have your horse ready an waiting, I do try to be on time but sometimes things happen!
- I will generally send a curtesy msg to you when 30-60mins from you.
- If you do not respond to a confirmation message, you risk missing out on your appointment.
-No shows, fees apply.
-Cash or EFT is acceptable if EFT please advise.
- If you contact me an I don’t reply or it is urgent please contact my mobile 0423923296.

The POWER OF BODYWORK🦄

Chev is lucky to be alive, he has been through the wars, he went through a fence an got a bit banged up, then got extremely sick.

There was no part of his body where he wasn’t sore.
Open wound
Uneven through his body
Inflammation an some serious heat throughout his SI and hips.
Chev literally couldn’t even pick up his back legs without almost falling over( YES I’m being serious!)

Chev future didn’t look great, as he had so many issues going on,and we just weren’t sure how long the road was going to be,but I’m extremely proud an happy for him an his owner Allie who did the hard work behind scenes, yarding him an doing everything she could to get Chev better!

Tonight was Chev third session all two weeks apart an the TRANSFORMATION is AMAZING!
Chev is moving an looking so much better an he can actually PICK UP HIS BACK FEET NOW❤️

Photos really don’t show the full extend of how bad he was, not to mention how unhappy he was!

I can’t thank his owner enough for trusting me with her baby to get back on track an happy again!

Don’t underestimate the power of bodywork!

Couldn’t have said it better if I tried.

The unfortunate truth of owning and running a business.

Running a business is really hard.

What they don’t tell you is that it can cause severe stress and anxiety, and drains you mentally to the point of depression in even the most laid back people.

People will talk about you, compare you to others, use you, they will view you as a service and not a person anymore.

Friends and family will expect discounts and people will value you and your hard work less than a big chain store.

You have to worry about if you forget to email/message or call someone back, are they going to think it was on purpose? Did you disappoint them? Will they hold that against you? When in reality you just can’t get to everyone’s messages, emails and phone calls.

Starting up and running a successful business puts incredible strain on personal lives and relationships, many of which fail because there is just often no work life balance. You need to be the director, the worker, the admin, the marketing team, the accountant, the cleaner... All while being a parent, a husband or a wife, family support, friend... it’s one of the hardest things you will try and balance. If you give your time, you will sacrifice financial benefit. If you strive for financial benefit, you will have to sacrifice your time. It’s just the way it goes when your business is relying on you to survive and you’re relying on your business to provide!

There’s a reason you don’t see many people succeed in small businesses after 5 years. If they are successful they are overwhelmed. It takes a toll. It’s freaking exhausting. Especially the past couple of years when so much has been out of our control.

Here’s a small reminder that we are just normal people with hectic lives. Be kind, be patient, support small businesses... and hopefully more of us will stick around!

I often get asked if my float can carry the big horses and my answer is YES.
Below is the lovely Chance who was an absolute gentlemen to deal with, as you can see he is very long and big and he fitted fine with some more room up the front to go if he wanted to.

Pricing starts at $150 for transport
Yes sometimes I can be slightly more then other companies but I am a personalised and direct service that is providing one on one care to your horse at any one time.

I have a generous time frame for “bad loaders” and that is 45mins after this time frame fees do apply, the same goes for unsafe fees apply.
All I ask if that when booking in if your horse is a “bad or difficult” loader please just let me know that is all I ask.

If you have gear/feed I can take this also but again need to be told prior to pick up.

Float Training is available in my float $100 for 1.5hrs or $50 hourly with your float

Treatments are available which consist of massage, red light and acupuncture and rock tape( as needed) which is $100($15 travel fee included)
Discounts do apply if more than 3 horses at the one property!
I take pride in what I do and have a passion for horses.

If your unsure if I travel to your area just ask or I can travel if enough horses.

I will be looking at taking on 1-2 new sponsored riders after July/August, so watch this space for more details to come!

Check out these before and after’s on two TB’s 🤩

Change doesn’t happen over night it can take months years.
The chestnut is a crazily talented horse but also isn’t an easy horse and he has came along way in two years, not just in his body.

The bay is going so much nicer although young and green and still figuring things out as well as leaning to use his body correctly.

There owner is super dedicated and does everything she’s can to help her horses get even further into the ** in eventing.
This post is to show you that regular bodywork, good feed, farrier, riding all goes a long way.
These boys are also on the treadmill weekly.

Change can be amazing, if you let it 🙂

Saddle fits, when was the last time you had your saddle checked?
(Same goes with farrier, dentistry, bits, feeding etc)
If your answer is I don’t know or I can’t remember then you need to get it checked, YES even if you think it doesn’t as sometimes what you think is fine may not be!!

Photos below are of my own horse in different saddles, after riding in multiply saddles I would strongly suggest that everyone does this when looking for a new saddle weather that be a second hand or brand new saddle.
The difference and feel in each saddle is literally mind blowing..

I also strongly suggest taking photos of your horses posture and back like in the below pictures to help see the progress of the muscles etc
Although my horse isn’t where I want him to be we are on the road to it, and I’m always trying to do better/improve.

Each horse and rider is different and your on this journey differently to anyone else, so be a little kinder to one another and to YOURSELF, but at the end of the day we are all in this because we love our horses and care their wellbeing..

Remember that if your unsure please just ask someone, no question is a silly question if your unsure.
Horses teach us all something new every single day!

What an amazing three days, I do these clinics for my own personal growth and to never stop learning as it’s always something different..

Im super pumped to get back to the one in Oct 2022 now..

I even got to bring some goodies and I can’t wait to show you all and help you all understand certain areas of the horse more and how it moves or doesn’t move if and when it’s restricted.

I am still not home yet so please bare with me and I will do my best to get back to everyone tonight or tomorrow as you could all imagine I’m mentally exhausted from the brain overload but so so so worth every bit, and not to mention meeting like minded people who just love exploring the body!!

I can’t thank the organisers down at the barefoot blacksmith and Sharon May-Davis for these experiences enough!!

The power of body work is amazing.
Indi looks so much happier and fuller over the back..

Indi has had a few sessions before hand to help with his wither soreness, he would try to bite his little owner when being girthed and now he does not try to eat her at all an she can touch his wither without him being so grumpy about it.

Indi has a very special job at teaching
his little rider the ropes❤️

Sorry I’ve been so quiet lately an slower then usual to reply to you all, have had a lot going on!!

Just want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a happy/safe New Year.

Moving forward in Jan 2022 while my
Kids are on school holidays, I will be doing a selected number of days, so best to get in early to avoid disappointment..

Please remember that I do also have a heat policy.
Early morning or evenings when it’s cooler is suitable on those hot days.
Shaded area to treat is ideal.

PFA is off Boss enjoying his treatment the other week.
Boss was very shut down at the start of the treatment but quickly started releasing and enjoyed the session❤️

I had the absolute pleasure of picking this guy up from quarantine and delivering him to his new home.
Kulur came all the way from Iceland, he was a pleasure to handle an float.

For those of you who own big horses an wondering if they’d fit, the answer is YES, this horse is 17hh an still has plenty of room, he is just as wide as he is tall.
You can’t even see the horse next to him except for the top of her ears if you look closely 😜

Unfortunately the owner just couldn’t get them to load after hours of trying, I was called in to move them an had them both in within 20minutes happy an stress free.

Transporting these two horses is exactly why I do what I do an make the loading an trip all positive.
When loading them, I allow them to make the correct choice rather then the negative an praising an allowing them to process what I’ve asked from them.
The key is to set them up for success an not failure.

Both horses unloaded stress free an happy at the other end.

Such a sweet mare who is very expressive and tells me every step of the way when treating her. This mare has been working super for her owners and regular bodywork is keeping her in top shape. Regular bodywork help keeps your horse in check when ridden and competed and by doing so you keep on top of there well being.☺️

How cool is this? Acupuncture working it’s magic today 🥰 It’s always so rewarding when a horse finally accepts the treatment, for this mare it has been a long time coming specially touching her around the poll but I’m so pleased that now we have pretty much eliminated that she loves her treatments, as well as we’ve addressed some issues and it’s all paid off for both pony and owner 😍
