So many people ask the question...
"Why would vets recommend products that can harm our pets?"
Let's see....
Zoetis is the company responsible for Simparica, oh, and Apoquel and Cytopoint as well as vaccines and heartworm meds.
Boehringer Ingelheim are the producers of Nexgard and Frontline, as well as vaccines and heartworm meds.
These companies are some of the Australian Veterinary Association's biggest corporate sponsors. Yep, you read that right, they help fund the AVA.
Considering this, is it any wonder vets are taught to push them on our pets??
What about food? Many vets are against raw feeding and recommend Hills or Royal Canin. SURPRISE! They are also major sponsors!!
Money talks. Unfortunately it also puts our dogs at risk.
Don't be fooled. Always look at the bigger picture. Always ask questions.
Vets might be doing what they are taught is best and there are many wonderful, caring vets out there, it's just a shame their teachings are money orientated instead of for the welfare of our dogs.
Know better, do better. And please share, people deserve to know! 🐾🐾
Essential oils can truly work wonders, both physically and emotionally, for our dogs and us. They:
- Alleviate stress
- Improve mood
- Boost the immune system
- Soothe physical ailments
- Aid digestion
- Enhance focus
- Promote restful sleep
And so much more!
However, not all essential oils are created equal, and here's why you might not be seeing the results you hoped for:
1. Synthetic or Adulterated Oils: Many essential oils on the market are not pure. Synthetic additives can reduce their effectiveness.
2. Improper Growth and Harvesting: The therapeutic properties of essential oils depend heavily on how and where the plants are grown. Improper farming practices can compromise the quality.
3. Environmental Factors: The right environment is crucial for producing high-quality oils. If plants aren't grown in their ideal conditions, the oils won't be as potent.
That's where doTERRA oils shine! 🌟 doTERRA ensures their oils are pure, sustainably sourced, and rigorously tested for quality. When you use doTERRA, you're getting the best nature has to offer. Try them, and you'll notice the difference! 💧🌿
Ready to experience the magic of true essential oils? We are holding a SpOIL Yourself sampling event where you can learn about the oils while experiencing them too! This is an online event open to anyone that does not have a doTERRA account yet. Comment below or DM me for more info!
Here's 3 ways you can use essential oils to support your dog naturally.
1. Aromatically- Simply diffuse oils in your home to create a calming atmosphere for your dog. This method is great for reducing stress and anxiety, especially during thunderstorms or fireworks.
2. Topically- Dilute essential oils with a carrier oil and apply them to your dog's skin (avoiding sensitive areas and mucous membranes). This can help with skin issues, soothe sore muscles, and repel fleas and ticks.
3. Internally- Some essential oils can be taken internally. You can add essential oils to your dog's food to support their immune system or aid digestion, or to a vege capsule. The dosage is weight dependent.
Remember, not all essential oils are safe for dogs, so always do your research and choose oils that are 100% pure and high quality and follow the safety guidelines.

Let's keep it civil please!!
On the other reel I found the people on a certain 'team' became very nasty. There is NO need for that.
I want to hear what you would rather. There is no wrong answer since it's asking your OPINION.
Personally I prefer to get my dogs from a reputable, ethical breeder...and yes, they do exist.
Contrary to the belief of many, these breeders rarely make money, they do it out of love and to better their breed. They are extremely knowledgeable and will always take back a dog they bred to keep them out of shelters. They are the ones preserving our breeds as they should be.
I am not talking about all breeders, just the ethical, reputable, registered ones...and no, not all registered breeders meet that standard. You need to do your research!
However, I am not against rescue dogs at all. If that suits your family then that is the best dog for you! Not everyone wants a pure-bred, I get that.
But I will admit, I am not a fan of the so called 'designer' breeds. They are not a breed, they are crossbreeds that people expect ridiculous amounts of money for. They are also mainly bred by unscrupulous backyard breeders.
So, that's my 2 cents in a nutshell... what would you rather?

Did you know....
👉That the Australian Veterinary Association is sponsored by the companies that make the toxic flea and tick preventatives?
Funnily enough, they are also sponsored by the dry food companies that vets recommend.
So why do vets recommend them, even though there's plenty of proof they can have deadly consequences?
Because money talks!
The AVA stands to lose a lot of sponsorship if they stop recommending these companies products. Simple.
So Veterinarians are taught how 'necessary' these products are in university (it's also handy to note that in the US many vet courses are also sponsored by these companies, so it could be the same here too) and then carry those teachings into their practises.
Many vets are waking up to this, but unfortunately there's many who stick by their teachings and refuse to acknowledge the dangers.
I urge you to do your own research! Make an informed decision for yourself! Don't blindly trust your vet, just as you shouldn't blindly follow your doctor either.
Look for an integrated vet that uses both holistic treatments and conventional medicine together. These vets have studied more than just a university degree.
I am not against vets, far from it! I believe vets do amazing work. I am against vets pushing toxins that are known to harm our pets when there IS a better way.
You don't need to use toxins that pose a risk to your dog. There are plenty of natural ways to prevent fleas and ticks that are safe and effective, like my Outdoor Dog Essential Oil Blend.
There is a better way 🐾🐾
It's time to make the change!
Stop giving your dog toxic chemicals that could have devastating effects on your dog to help prevent fleas and ticks...
Instead, get your hands on some of my Outdoor Dog Essential Oil Blend and help prevent fleas and ticks in a natural and safe way that is actually beneficial to your dog!
The Outdoor Dog blend contains essential oils that have been shown to have significant repelling effects on fleas and ticks.
Lavender and Cedarwood are both power houses for repelling those pesky fleas while Turmeric and Geranium give added puch to keep those ticks at bay too. The addition of Peppermint adds an extra layer of protection from both.
The bonus is, these essential oils have also been shown to repel other pests too! Flies, mosquitoes, ants and other annoying pests will also hate this blend and stay clear of your dog.
Plus, you will find your dog's skin and coat will love the soothing, calming and healing effects of the oils too! Win, win!
The Outdoor Dog blend comes in a 15ml bottle. You use this to make up your spray bottle, also available with the OD blend, using just 25 drops of OD blend and water! Easy!
You will get approx. 10 x 100ml spray bottles from each Outdoor Dog 15ml bottle. It really is a cost efficient yet safe and effective way to help keep your dog pest free!
Outdoor Dog can be used on humans too, giving you both protection while exploring the great outdoors together!
