Gave this door an update as well as a dog door.

We removed the 4 panel of float glass and replaced it with 6mm toughened glass. With a medium petway glass pet door.

A simple mid rail removal can update the look of your sliding glass door.

Lily getting use to her new petdoor into glass!

Glass pet doors are a great way to keep the cold air out. Also will be great in summer keeping the air conditioning in. Also helps save money on the heating and cooling bill 😎

She was use to using a generic hardware insert that wasn't able to be locked. Definitely an upgrade! And no loss of door way width.

Just a couple of bordie collies using their second pet door recently installed. 😁😁

It was installed into a flyscreen frame but an extra aluminium border frame was added for extra strength 💪 and looks better to.

Installed a Patiolink pet door and replaced the old diamond grill with stylish and visually appealing screengaurd 316 stainless steel security mesh. Standard with a triple point lock.

Like a fresh lick of paint!!

Recently we replace this old screen door with this fresh black diamond grill door.

The old screen door had a 5mm air gap border around the door. Letting in all sorts of bugs.

The remedy. We put a build out parameter frame so the door would close on to a weather seal. We also put a bug strip at the bottom and used midge mesh to make sure nothing gets through!!

For extra security a triple lock system was installed.

Does your sliding door sound like a freight train every time you open it. Does it skid or jump when you try pulling it?

You might need to change your rollers. When the rollers stop rolling properly it could lead to damage not only to your rollers but on the aluminium track. Which could result in more costly repairs.

What also can causes premature damage on rollers? Pet hair, dirt in the track, and using an oil base lubricant in the bearings.

Glass sliding door service

Your glass sliding door is an essential part of your house. More often than not it is the main way in and out of your house besides your front door.

The rollers in your door are prone to get dirt and dog hair into the bearings. which in turn stops them from rolling properly making them hard to open and close, and in some cases will damage the roller track and costing more in repairs with a stainless steel capping track.

The Dog Door Guy does provide sliding door service which is a roller replacement and track clean. The fitting of a stainless steel capping track will incur an extra cost.

The petway door is the only one that allows the security door to slide open all the way past the fixed glass panel.

Slim line design and blends right into your door. Also available in 6 colours

It can be used on crimsafe, diamond grill and fly screens.

It also can be used on security window screens

If used on a diamond grill door, you can replace the cut diamond grill, when you move or don't require it anymore.

Con's

If you have air-conditioning running it will reduce the cooling capability.

Its a door that you can take to your next property.

Its rental friendly, no cutting of pre existing screens.

Its air-conditioning friendly, keeps the cold air escaping.

It can be configured many ways. As a sliding door, a fixed panel, you can move your fixed glass panel and secure in the corner. Pictures below

You can lock your glass door and security door against it.

It can be inserted into taller doors, to 3.0 metres high at extra cost.

Also have a window insert option that ranges between 80cm to 1.6 metres high.

Con

It reduces doorway width.

What is the most common doors we install dog door into? It would be the diamond grill security screens.

If your a renter don't be deterred, once you have finished renting we can replace the diamond grill, back to its original state for a third of a new diamond grill door.
