Expressions of Interest.

Wolff and Boots Pygmy Goats have 6 pygmy x miniature goats available from CAE and JD clear herd

2 x boys (will be wethered)
4 x girls

Percentages range from 31.25-40%

All will come vaccinated, disbudded (by vet), registered, and with enough food for transitioning and boys desexed.

Will be bottle fed starting Monday (unless new owner would prefer dam raised)

Happy to transport if needed.

Will be available to new homes from 6 weeks (preferably 8).
To go in pairs or if new owner has goats similar in age.

New mum Nina certainly put our minds at ease today, the only doe of 5 to birth inside the shelter away from any nasty crows.
I quite literally blinked and missed it. She came out for her morning chaff, and while I fed up the other 2 paddocks, she snuck away and kidded. I walked around the corner as the birth was finishing up.
I am always cautiously nervous about my does first time birthing, but Nina did such a fabulous job.
Can't wait to see how this stunning little girl grows out over the next few weeks. She's definitely the odd one out this year!

There's a new kid on the block!!!
Wolff and Boots Pygmy Goats welcomes our newest addition to the farm, Buzz.
Buzz is an 80% pygmy buck who will make a wonderful addition to our breeding herd

A quick stocktake of the kids born at Wolff & Boots last year!

A nice variety of colours and all being loved by their new forever homes

2023 will see 7 does going into kid!! So a bigger year, getting us ready for some exciting changes going into 2024!!!

Something I am truly passionate about is animal health and safety.
As a vet nurse, animal diseases are a prevalent part of my job.
This, along side with testing for CAE and JDs are just two small ways I am doing my part to ensure the animal industry remains intact.

Birth weight from 480g to 590g

Will be registered, vaccinated, wormed, and possibly disbudded if I can find a new vet to do it properly.

Girls will make a lovely addition to any breeding herd looking to bring in colour.

When mum pulls you away from your harem and takes you too the vet. I think the pupils say it all.
On a positive note, Dallas' ear tag was removed and the wound closed and his scurs (which were getting dangerously close to his eyes) were taken right back to 1inch length.
Happy to be back with his girls.

I absolutely loathe ear tags. They are horrible things that I honestly don't believe we need in goats. I'd much rather my herd (given that they are not a food source) be microchipped.
Dallas (my buck) has somehow ripped his tag - despite it being cut, and now gets to have surgery to remove it.
At least we can fix up his scurs while he's under anaesthesia.

Meet the new girls on the farm. Penny and Nancy from . Though not pygmies, I couldn't say no to their colourings, so have added them to our herd in hopes of brining the best of size and colour to our future kids.

The joys of goat breeding.
Away for 5 days I hadn't had a good chance to check on miss Sophie post kidding.
Today she looked a bit uncomfortable and was walking wide legged.
Not the best at letting kids feed, turns out she has been neglecting to feed alternative sides.
Not quite infectious mastitis yet, but definitely a bit red and sore.... of course she was so intrigued with what I was doing and had to have a little taste 🤦‍♀️..

Little Goong has been enjoying his stay at our farm. After his sibling sadly passed away and with his owners going away for 2 weeks, coming to stay with us was the best option to ensure he didn't stress.
Hi favourite part of this stay has been following us around the yard while we try and work
