Reserve Champion Ridden Thoroughcare

First under saddle show for our Elsie and in true Elsie form she handled everything like a superstar! Still very green but her beautiful nature shone through!

Rider is extremely rusty and needs a few more shows to get back in order! Massive appreciation to those that helped me get back in the show ring it’s been a long time!

Elsie is everything you could wish for!
Started showing under saddle end of September where she handled the atmosphere perfectly.
Big, black, elegant, great temperament, easy doer, soft snaffle mouth! Doesn’t shy or buck!
She’s been with me for almost two years from trainers. She was supposed to be rehomed however stayed as we fell in love with her! She sat in my back paddock for 6months due to my own wedding then was taken back to the track she was trained at to teach a very novice rider how to ride trackwork.
Been to the Forrest, lake, scrub rides and happily strolls along on a loose rein.
Been to freshman’s day where she happily jumped a couple of 50cm rounds happily and boldly.
Coming along nicely on the flat, works in a soft consistent contact.
She’s competed in hand in TB classes and been successful taking Reserve Champ, she was well mannered and relaxed all day.
She is very much loved and I will not be allowing her to go to just anyone, I just feel a lovely mare like this should be enjoyed by a teenager wanting a competitive trainable horse to take through the grades in dressage, showjumping or eventing!
