✨ January Clinic ✨
We have 3 positions left for our January clinic on the 11 & 12th of January. The clinic is a two day horsemanship clinic covering groundwork and ridden fundamentals with the aim creating understanding and softeness in horse/rider combinations.

Suitable for young horses, schooled horses needing refinement & for improving confidence in riders.

$400 participants
$40 fence sitters

Swampy as he is affectionately known is a very kind natured and honest gelding. He catches you in the paddock, loads straight onto truck or float, stands quietly for the farrier (is currently barefoot with excellent feet) & gets along with other horses in the paddock.

Swampy requires no work down and you can jump straight on him after weeks off.
Swampy understands the basics of working in contact & has three smooth paces.

Very brave he has been ridden through water crossings, in the bush, on farm (amongst cattle and sheep) and along the road with no fuss at all. Happy to work alone or in a group.

A bold jumper, very straight forward over the jumps he has been shown. Also goes kindly in pole work.

Ready to go on with into your chosen discipline. Suited to a confident rider to continue his journey and enjoy. Currently ridden by our 15 year old work experience helper, these photos are their third ride together.

Couldn’t be more proud to be apart of Amanda & Connie’s journey. I can still remember the tiny little girl on the naughty riding pony when we first started lessons, your growing into such a talented young lady! As for Connie, he and his siblings are all doing us proud and showing why the Australian Stock Horse really is the breed for every need.

The most beautiful little black filly. She is by Topshelf Absolute out of Viewhill Stereoheart aka Scarlett. Scarlett is by Royalle Heart Throb out of the well performed Ellendale Brittany. As a first time mum we couldn’t be more proud of Scarlett. Topshelf Absolute has blown us away with the quality he has produced in his first crop of foals, the future is very bright.

At this point we have decided to retain Vogue for our show team.

Stock Horse Clinics cover breed standards, type, conformation and led class ring craft, hack patterns, working patterns & time trial. A great introduction to stock horse competition, an opportunity to refine your skills or a perfect outing for your young horse before hitting the show ring. Unregistered horses are most welcome.

Horsemanship clinics cover our foundational training program with a full day of groundwork and a full day of ridden work. We cater to all levels with each exercise being a building block that can be practised at the most basic level or used to improve more difficult manoeuvres such as walk to canter or slow fly change. These clinics aim to build a solid foundation for horse and rider to work confidently together.

Nav Man had his first entertainment stint at Morisset Show last weekend. Being his third time off the property im proud as punch of this sweet baby horse. He really tried his heart out even though he was very tired by the last day. Some horses just make your heart sing, and this one’s mine 💓

Our only Koorala Black Label baby for the season out of our very special Clancystud Wanderlust who is by Kirkby Stud Digger out of Smart Little Cowtender. I have retained Nauticals full brother Navigation as a personal horse due to their spectacular temperaments and type. This fellow is going to be stunning.

We had the pleasure of attending the Narrabri Chamber of Commerce Buisness awards over the weekend. To be nominated was an honor, to then be selected for the Young Entrepreneur of 2024 has blown me away. Thankyou to the chamber for hosting an event that promotes and recognises Narrabri local business, it was a highlight of the evening to see so many well deserving businesses attending.

Thankyou to everyone that has supported and believed in us from the beginning, it has been the journey of a lifetime. Without the support of our clients and community it would be impossible to have achieved so many goals. The best part of this business is the connections made. I am proud and grateful to share this journey with you.

I am particularly fortunate to have an extraordinary family. Which includes Jake, the other half of the KCH team, who keeps the wheels spinning and has encouraged me every step of the way. My mum whom I adore, who has always told me that I can do it even when I think I can’t. And our beautiful baby Hunter, that adds a whole new element of enjoyment in everything I do.

A shoutout also to the best table in the house who always welcome me with open arms, Team Barden Pumps couldn’t be more deserving of their Trades and Service award.

The first Topshelf Absolute foal out of our gorgeous mare Chalani Dance. A beautiful little black/brown c**t. With both parents being Royal champions in their own right we know this little guy is going to be a super star.
