Hello everyone, the glow in the dark leads have proven to be glow in the dark in some cases far better then expected. But they are expensive. The option below is orange and reflective (Not glow in the dark) but half the price. If there's interest let me know. Only available in 10mm which may be too heavy for some dogs.

Tracking Pegs: super lightweight, 6mm diameter (this is very narrow), blue with a reflective section near the top, 120cm long. I can add a flag. Price would be dependant on how much interest there is. If I can order 100 pegs I will be able to sell for around $6-8 a peg. Another $2 to add a flag. Collection only from SE Qld.

Not for Sale: "Patrollers Lead". This was a custom leather lead that has been a few months in the making. 2.5m long with 4 rings to allow for multiple configurations. The customer wanted "strong" so all connections have been stitched, glued and Chicago screwed. The leather is 20mm Black Leather. Not quite finished...but almost.

Exciting news: I have a new European Leather supplier on board. They do 20mm and 25mm wide leather in lengths up to 6m or so. They have a bigger range of colours and their leather is A grade. Check out this lead on its way north for a Ridgeback who is underway in its Track and Search journey. It's not fully finished..but almost there...

From time to time people query the prices I charge for my leads...below is a very nice leather lead (I bought one once). At $69 the breakdown is going to be around $5 in metal hardware, this leaves $64. I will assume the stitching (done on a machine) and cutting took 15mins...someone had to do that so let's call that $20 in labour or $80 an hour (yes, I doubt it costs that much)

That means the leather is being paid for by the customer at, at least $30 a metre. At that price the leather alone in a 10m tracking lead would be $300 +, before its cut, stitched, oiled, polished plus the cost of a clip and postage.

Hello everyone, I have considered holding onto this lead but am putting it out there to gauge interest. It's a "big dog" lead. Coming in at 10mm in diameter by 10.2m long this is built for bigger tracking dogs. It has come up an absolute treat and I will be reluctant to let it go. The price reflects the diameter of the leather and the time taken to build this up. I am asking > $200 (I simply haven't calculated all the costs and time involved yet). I can honestly say that I don't think anywhere (anywhere) offers a lead of this diameter with most tracking leads being 8mm diameter or less.
