Alone and in need of a helping hand 🦜💔
In the midst of a bustling construction site, a small miracle unfolded when a nest of 5 baby Pale-Headed Rosellas was discovered, abandoned and vulnerable. With no sign of their parents, their fate hung in the balance.
The 5 babies, brought into the Wildlife Hospital still snuggled together, were quickly examined by our specialist Veterinary Team.
The initial moments were critical, as the Team worked to give the birds fluids to rehydrate their fragile little bodies.
Following their time in hospital, the baby Rosellas were entrusted to the capable hands of a skilled Wildlife Carer and are now on a path of recovery.
These baby birds are just 5 of the 23,000 native animals we see every year... and why we need your support.
Our dedicated wildlife and rescue teams work around the clock to save vulnerable and endangered animals. Their crucial work to save our precious wildlife is only possible thanks to community support and generous donations ❤️
