WARNING, COCCIDIA ABOUT!!

All this rain and wet wether has, unfortunately, brought the coccidia out again

We currently have an outbreak. While it is not dangerous to humans, it is deadly to our feathered friends.

If you have recently purchased hens from us: these hens will have been treated, and likely vaccinated for coccidia before we picked them up. These hens were also isolated away from our affected coops. While we can not guarantee that every single one of them is coccidia free, they should be ok.

There is a vaccine available for coccidia! it is cheap, affective, and I will be able to attend properties to vaccinate birds from next week.

If you are interested in having your birds vaccinated against coccidia, I will be picking up the vaccines this weekend. Please PM me to arrange to have your birds vaccinated- this is for everyone, not just those of you who have purchased hens from us recently! Chicks as young as three days old can be vaccinated!

Gooood morning!

We have wing feathers now!

Things we love:
- mama
- food
- playing in the water bowl instead of drinking the water

Things we don’t love:
- the humans picking us up
- not being able to see mama
- being stuck in the coop

The babies will have their first outside day today or tomorrow once their outdoor enclosed is finished being built. ❤️🥰
