And here we have it fokes! Our 1st, 2nd and 3rd place getters in the finals of The Great Nundle Dog Race.
In 3rd place (far right) we have Duc from Kootingal with his owner Amanda
In 2nd place (middle) we have Jed from Cameron’s Creek with his owner David.
And our lucky winner was Roxy from Loomberah with her owner Phil! (Left)
We had 26 working dogs enter the main Nundle Dog Race this year with the top 4 in the 2 heats making it to the finals.
It was a very close race in the end with a very hard judges call! We do have a video we can post soon of this brilliant finals race for those that missed it on the day.
We also have our school Principal Mr McDonald (left), our Calcutta winner Danielle (middle) and myself, Tash (right) joining in the photo.

A massive congratulations to all our place getters on Sunday and a huge THANK YOU to everyone who attended and supported us on this crazy yet amazing day! 🥰🐾

We have a very last minute sponsor for our amazing day yesterday that we need to thank.

⭐️ Pet One ⭐️

Their giant box of dog toys arrived late Friday afternoon and we were able to fill up those prize bags with these incredible gifts. They even hand wrote some congratulations cards that we slipped into some bags as well 🥰. Thank you so much Pet One for joining us and helping make our day that little bit more special 🐶🐾

PAWS FOR A MOMENT..
Take a moment to check out some of the worlds happiest dogs… captured today… at the 45th Great Nundle Dog Race.

It was a cracker of a day, a new record was set in the higjump, the Charity Auction raised funds for the Nundle Public School and the calcutta was won by a Nundle local.

Fancy dressed and dancing dogs had a ball as did the dogs on a leash and the entries in the canines mini stakes.

A big shout out the the Nundle Public School P&C volunteers for coordinating today and to all stall holders, community groups and sponsors for your continued support.

Thank you also to the students from Farrer who helped out and of course the magnificent doggos who were the stars of the show.

We look forward to another amazing event in 2025!

The steeplechase finals and doggy high jump are underway….

It’s getting exciting here as people and their fur babies embrace the atmosphere of our unique family day.

There’s facepainting, Highland cattle to pat merchandise to buy and loads of food and drinks stalls.

Putting the fun into fundraising - todays event goes towards the Nundle Public School.

GREAT TIME AT NUNDLE
The sun is shining on the Great Nundle Dog Race...

Smiles and laughter abound as fur babies of all shapes and sizes take to the field.

Stalls, events, food & drink galore and plenty in the pristine village of Nundle to explore..

Make your way for a fun day of family celebrations as you raise funds for Nundle Public School.

We still have steeple chase, doggy high jump, childrens sack races and much more.

There are raffle prizes to win, an auction to bid on and later in the day the highly coveted Final of the Great Nundle Dog Race.

If you’re staying in Nundle over the weekend for The Dog Race or lucky enough to be local and not too far away, we have a few things on the Saturday to help pass the time before race day.

Saturday morning at 11am we have The Great Nundle Dog Walk.
For a gold coin donation, join the kids of Nundle Public School and their dogs on a lap around the Nundle Village, following the original Great Nundle Dog course.
As a thank you for your participation, we have organised some discount vouchers at many of our local shops here Nundle to put towards your next purchase during your stay with us.

Then on Saturday night, join us at the Nundle Memorial Hall for a Family Fun Movie night featuring The Secret Life of Pets.
Starting at 6pm, gold coin entry and popcorn will be available for $2/cup. BYO drinks and other snacks you would like.

Looking forward to seeing everyone and their furry friends over this massive weekend 🐾🐶

Our program of events for race day!

Gates open from 9.30am, with the race field opening at 9.45am for practice runs.
The day kicks off at 10am with a quick hello and thank you from our amazing school principal with our first events starting from 10.10am.

What kid doesn’t love doing arts and crafts?! 🤩
This year the Nundle District Craft Shop is sponsoring our Kidzone area and have some amazing activities to keep the kiddos busy in between races.
They can build their own doggy snow globes ❄️ and colour in and create their very on paw print necklace!
Entry into the 🎨 Craft Shop Kidzone is FREE so be sure to check them out.
They will be located up too on the school oval near the 🦁 Lions Club BBQ, ☕️ Coffee Run Van and Hunter Highland Cows 🐮
