What is it with people not understanding the concept of a deposit? I clearly state in my deposit request that it is refundable only if they come to meet the puppy and are genuinely unhappy.

Recently, a man who had paid his deposit called me, asking for a refund because he was on several other waiting lists, and one closer to him had finally contacted him. I reminded him that the deposit is refundable only under the conditions I outlined—if he meets the puppy and isn’t happy, not because he changed his mind.

While I’ve refunded his deposit, I’ve also taken this opportunity to update and clarify my deposit policy to avoid any future misunderstandings. Honestly, I’m relieved he didn’t go through with it. Commitment is so important, and I wouldn’t want one of my puppies going to a home where they might be treated as an afterthought.

Please Note: paying a deposit is like a contract, you are saying yes I want one of your puppies, and puppies are not toys.

Millie & Dash

I know these are not Labradors or Golden Retrievers, but Millie & Dash are looking for a loving forever home—together!

My nephew and his family are moving to America long-term, and I offered to help find these two sweethearts a new family together we don’t want to separate them.

This adorable mother-and-son duo currently live outside and aren’t house-trained, but they have wonderful temperaments:
• Dash (1 year old) is desexed. He’s playful and used to be a chewer, but he’s growing out of it.
• Millie (3 years old) is Dash’s mom. She’s alert, a great little watchdog, and will let you know if someone is nearby—but deep down, she’s a sweet, loving girl.

They adore children, enjoy playing, and can be a little funny around other dogs (acting tough at first but running off soon after). However, they’re not good with rabbits and do love a bit of digging!

Both Millie and Dash are up to date with vaccinations, worming, and flea/tick treatments.

They need to stay together, so I’m hoping someone will find it in their heart to give them a forever home as a pair. If you think you’re the right fit for these two loving dogs, please get in touch. Millie and Dash can’t wait to meet you!
