I’m so excited about what this boy can offer his new (still looking) human

This boy has a bright future ! He has the 👌 ingredients to make a versatile family saddle horse in the future !

How do we know this as a breeder? There are many indicators including what are the capabilities of his parents but my thoughts of what a bloody ripper this boy is going to be where reinforce during a recent training session.

Troopers first tie up session. He is a rockstar! I’m so impressed with his temperament.

This is where his incredible resilience really shone through and gives a glimpse of how his is going to handle challenges later in life (think those the first time experiences, pressure situations or frights where their true temperament influences how they react and respond) When training to tie inevitably they end up pulling back when they feel that they are restricted for the first time. We always set our foals up for success and ensure they will be safe and have every opportunity to have a good experience. When training the foals, Im looking for how they react and respond in these instances to reinforce indicators of their future requirements in the home and people they will best suit.

As expected Trooper pulled back but the most fantastic thing happened. He stayed calm and thought his way through his new predicament. Giving calmly to the pressure and then testing where else he could move to/not move to, then went back to standing quietly. If he where human he would have shrugged his shoulders and went back to eating his burger and fries !

It was an absolute joy to watch from a training perspective

The Main Man getting his Jungle on weaving his way into a lovely shaded area of his paddock on those burning hot days we had in vic. So thankful we have some beautiful trees on our property.

Also his c**t foal, Merseysyde Storm Trooper, growing out nicely, pictures at 10 weeks EOI as a gelding, PSSM & FIS clear. This Cat is as cool as a cucumber and way more friendly 😂 he has that been here before vibe about him ❤️ He is going to be a ripper
