TNE Penny dreamer PC rally
Beyond proud of TNE Penny dreamer and Sophia today after attending a rally at Horsemens Pony Club!
Both girls handled themselves like pros for their first off property outing, Iām so excited to see how they both go in the 2025 season.
Felt pretty cool having a student and horse of mine out and about! š„ŗ
Has your horse tried this form of lunging???
Yes, he pulled up today totally fine and was an angel to ride today haha.

Wellā¦ what a day.
Yesterday afternoon I noticed some swelling on Dustyās face. After speaking to a vet at Murdoch we decided to see how it was over night on some anti-inflammatory with the assumption it was a sting of sorts.
In the morning it had almost doubled in size, so off to the vet we went. After a fair amount of investigating an abscess was discovered, caused by what seemed to be a small bit of wire.
After some draining and poking and prodding a very small piece of wire/ metal was finally removed.
Baby dusty is staying over night to be safe and has started antibiotics, but should be totally fine!
I want to say a hugeeee thank you to the entire equine veterinary team at Murdoch university. You are all truely amazing and Iād never dream of taking my fur babies to anyone else. You guys have become my second home/ family over the years (although I donāt think thatās a good thing š¤¦š¼āāļø). I always feel surrounded by such support when making hard choices for my horses. You really are the most incredible group of people!
Thanks to everyone who messaged asking if dusty was ok! As well as my family who always have my back when sh*t goes south.
Unfortunately this means no Busselton showjumpingā¦ Iām pretty gutted but am grateful that my boy is ok! (I cannot thank everyone enough who offered things like float yards/ places for him to stay etc!!)
Seems the universe decided itās not time to get back in the ring just yetā¦ hopefully after a few weeks of recovery we will be back to training and aim to make baby Dustyās debut!!

Jenks
Today TNE said goodbye to Jenkins as he left for his new (more relaxed) home!
Iām so glad he gets to live out his days as a semi retired paddock ornament for the Aldersons!! God knows he deserves it!!
I cannot thank Paris enough for trusting me with her boy over the last year. He is worth his weight in gold and I feel so privileged to have had such an incredible horse for my students to learn and grown with!
I have so much respect for him and am so grateful for what heās done for me. I genuinely owe so much to him for how he helped my grow my business and what he taught my clients. He is one in a million.
It will be weird waking up and not seeing him in my paddock! But Iām so glad he gets to live out his days at the best home along side diva!
Thanks for everything jenks!!
Dustyās first jump school!
Safe to say I was given a humble reminder that he is just a baby and that I need to get my riding fitness back! Despite some very green moments he gave me some lovely jumps and moments in this ride.
Onward and upward from here with my black beauty! š¤

Morning trail rides
What a lovely way to spend a Sunday morning!
Dustyās first solo outing went quite smoothing as we went to visit Amanda Alderson Carrie and diva for a lovely trail ride. It was so great seeing my girl and how happy she is at her new home!!

Mental health has been something Iāve both battled and been passionate about since roughly the age of 14/15. I never wanted to create a business where this is something that isnāt openly spoken about. Itās so important that no matter what you are going though, you have a safe, supporting and loving environment. However, itās also essential we understand that many are unable to have such an environment. Whether you perceive you have experienced trauma or not, how you feel is valid and itās crucial that we all stay aware that others may be facing battles we arenāt aware of at any given time.
Iāve always maintained the idea of having a supportive and safe business where everyone feels seen and respected as I know the difference that can make.
The equine industry can have its own hardship, let alone the hardship in peoples personal lives on-top of that . I still stand by the fact that itās so important to be open to conversations surrounding mental health regardless of age. People of all ages, backgrounds and experiences can battle with mental health.
So this is just a humble reminder to be kind to yourself and those around you. You truely have no idea what another is dealing with behind closed doors. ā¤ļø

Wellā¦. This was our first comp back in two years! I honestly canāt get over how long itās been!
After having hands down the worst 1-2 weeks of my life I had literately no emotional or physical energy going into this weekend. I honestly only made my mind up to ride on Saturday as I am trying to keep some normality in my life at the moment.
I had zero expectations and was just hoping to safely finish my classes and get through the day.
Safe to say Diva demonstrated why she deserves to be in the ring and despite her difficulties how big her heart is!
She knew I didnāt have much left in me to give our rounds and jumped so well!
Having a clear round let alone placing in a huge class was so amazing!
She managed to bring home 2nd in the 90cm with a ripper jump off.
We had a lovely 1m-1.04m with just one soft rail.
To say Iām proud is an understatement, I had a tear in my eye after going clear in the 90cm and to have such a competitive jump off felt amazing. Iām so lucky to have such an honest horse, the jumps may not have been big but she looked after me more than I could have ever asked for!
*loved mums commentary during the jump off š
Despite the hardship in my life currently, I know this girly has always got my backā¦ as well as my incredible family and team!
Iām feeling very grateful right now.
After two years off we are back with a vengeanceā¦ Diva jumped fabulously today for our 4th proper jump back!

The last two weeks at TNE has seen students jumping, learning to lunge, leg yeild, work into a contact and more!
At TNE we donāt just aim to teach you how to ride, but also to gain skill sets required to successfully and confidently work with horses and have the knowledge care for and safely handle them.

My handsome boy!
Dusty has been trying so hard for me! He is still a bit wriggly but has been moving more forward and feeling more confident over poles and small jumps. He is going to make a fantastic little horse š¤©

Student success!!
Iām super proud of Sophia and Jenkins flying over 90cm and an 80cm course in todays lesson! Sophia is a testament to the young talent at TNE!
You have really matured as a rider in the last few months Sophia and Iām excited to see you at some competitions in the future! š¤©

There isnāt a day where I regret my decision to turn what inspires me into a job! However, I will not deny the challenges and importance of resilience that comes with that choice. I have questioned my ability, judgment, choices, goals, plans and more. I have felt exhausted after hitting ābrick wallsā constantly. I have felt frustrated at the idea that I could be doing a better job, that I could be doing more.
However, sometimes we need to allow ourselves to take a step back, breath, and realise that we can choose those challenges.
I chose this sport and industry despite itās hardship. Is my business what I want it to be, no, but itās on itās way there. Every challenge is a learning opportunity, no matter how big or small.
I have huge plans, ideas and goals for what I envision my business offering and incorporating! However, for now Iām acknowledging that everything takes time to be achieved and that I have already begun to create a beautiful community.
I canāt wait to see how TNE grows and changes over the years!
I have so much love for everyone who has already been apart of this adventure!
