Have you gotten to a point where you feel you aren’t progressing as an equestrian?

Or maybe you and your family feel it’s time for that ‘next step’, perhaps to buy or lease a horse.

What happens when you get that horse?

Picture this in your mind now…

You get home from school one evening, race to your front door, throwing it open. You drop your heavy school bag onto the floor and go straight to your room. You get changed, chucking your school uniform onto your unmade bed, getting into your jodhpurs and riding top.

Once you’re dressed you make your way to your horse. You open the creaky gate to their paddock, walk over and give them a big hug.

As you go to put a halter on ready for a ride you look down at their leg and see it’s three times the size it normally is…

Your heart sinks...
First you are upset knowing you can’t ride today, then you feel the fear rise up as you have no idea what to do…

Do I need to go to the vets?
What happened?
What do I need to do?

I understand this feeling all too well.

Whether it’s a visible injury, or maybe your horse just doesn’t feel happy under saddle and is ‘misbehaving’.
Whatever the ‘issue’, when facing it alone it can feel super scary and frustrating!

Have you ever stood in a crowded room and felt like you were invisible? Have you ever stood in a crowded room and wished you were invisible?

I have.

I have been in rooms where simultaneously I was the smallest person in the room, yet was sticking out like a sore thumb. I wasn’t just feeling sadness or fear, I became them; my skin may as well have had those words tattooed on them.

I have been in rooms with endless noise and conversation, stepped outside, covered my ears, and somehow the noise just got louder.

I have stood in many rooms over my life. Most of them were uncomfortable one way or another.

Let me tell you a secret.
As a teenager I didn’t choose the rooms I stood in, I didn’t choose my discomfort. Those rooms made me feel like nothing.

As an adult, I managed to find my way to rooms that made me feel uncomfortable, but I chose to be in those rooms. They helped me see how I have everything I ever needed. They showed me that dream life I thought I could never have, is right there waiting for me to step into it. They showed me the connection, the confidence and the empowerment I didn’t realise I had the whole time.

I promise, everything you think you’re not, everything you think you can’t have or be, you DO have and you ARE!

My secret?
Get comfortable with being uncomfortable! That’s when growth happens!

What is TNE’s purpose?

Vision -
To spread the realisation and understanding of the innate power and brilliance within every soul. Therefore, fostering a certainty in an individuals ability to build their dream life; eliminating limiting beliefs. To deepen an individuals understanding of themself and others; providing connected relationships. To educate that there is true balance in every element of life. Therefore, supporting individuals to live in alignment with their values.

Mission -
To create a space that is bridging the gap for youth; a place that educates and empowers teens as they transition into adulthood. To utilise horses as a tool to explore the endless potential within every human being as well as developing invaluable life skills that are transferable to every facet of life. Where the restrictions of mental health, self worth and limiting beliefs are no longer the stories running people’s lives. TNE helps guide people on how to grab the reins of their own life.

I want you to see this in your mind…

It’s a cool winter night, I step outside my creaky wooden front door onto reddish brown rectangle pavers. I slip on my cracking black paddock boots and walk out into the grass. I can feel my nose going tingly from the cold. I hear the soft crunch of frosty green grass under my boot. I open a silver mettle gate to get into my horses paddock. Freezing, I grab his heavy dark purple fleece and wrap myself entirely in it, finally sitting down against a makeshift wooden frame built for a round bale to go in.

As my flee bitten grey, Kenny, walks over to me, puffing a warm breath onto my face, I just start sobbing. This feeling of defeat and helplessness washing over me.

At fourteen years old I questioned if I’d ever be good enough... I questioned if there would be a day my mind and heart weren’t racing as I stepped into a room of unfamiliar faces. I questioned if I’d ever feel truely connected and a sense of belonging; I questioned if I was strong enough, smart enough, confident enough, pretty enough, talented enough, worthy enough.

Little did I know that all these questions in my head were in countless other heads.

Fast forward some six years later and I have started my own business in the equine industry; coaching, riding, agisting and mentoring.

I have the skills to maintain and foster meaningful and healthy relationships/ friendships.

I have a clear mission and feel inspired to build my legacy.

I have a healthy relationship with myself and am deepening my understanding and appreciation of myself, my mind and body.

Some of the differences between then and now;

-I realised I am not ‘my story’
-I realised I am not my emotions nor am I controlled by them
-I broke my addictions to things such as self sabotage and poverty mentality
-I understood my worth (stopped getting in my own way)
-I realised and embraced my weaknesses and strengths

After experiencing such a life changing shift in my reality over the last few years, I feel morally obligated to offer services and an environment that will support many more to experience the same transformation.

TNE had the pleasure of having Saddle Fitting By Elizabeth Moore out to see a number of client horses and riders today.

Amelia and secret are over the moon with their new arena monoflap jump saddle from Horseland Perth fit by Liz today!

It was a pleasure to have so everyone out today! A huge thank you to Liz for fitting so many saddles and to Horseland Perth for offering such a high quality range of bates, wintec and arena saddles.

Very proud of some TNE riders today at a little in-house comp at horseman’s PC.

Sophia and Penny had their first proper showjump rounds and second outing with two clear rounds, picking up a 4th in 45cm and a lovely 60cm. Beyond proud these two today!

Amelia and secret also kept all the rails up with a 1st place in a super 70cm! Beyond proud of how Amelia handled miss secret, she isn’t an easy ride but they both are working super hard!

Michaela and faith had their first clear 60cm and some beautiful moments in their 70cm. Such great progress for them today!

Emma and Ollie had a lovely 60cm also picking up a place.

Very proud of all these girls today, a lovely end to the year for them!

Beyond proud of TNE Penny dreamer and Sophia today after attending a rally at Horsemens Pony Club!

Both girls handled themselves like pros for their first off property outing, I’m so excited to see how they both go in the 2025 season.

Felt pretty cool having a student and horse of mine out and about! 🥺

I’ve loved working with Secret over the past few weeks; focusing on ride-ability and strengthening the canter to assist her balance while jumping courses. The progress has been very satisfying to see as she now finds it much easier to roll around a showjump course!
