So, here’s today’s latest video.
Update; One lovely little girl has been sold.
This leaves 2 girls and 5 boys ready 2 weeks for their forever homes.
All vet checks and microchips being carried out tomorrow.
Our puppies are DNA cleared, vet checked microchipped, pure bred and come with full puppy pack and lifetime advice, message now to avoid disappointment.. breeder with over 10 years as a Spoodle’s breeder.

Introducing the adorable 10/11 week old Macy. This little sweetheart is ready to find her forever home. Macy is a mixed breed puppy who is currently safe and warm in foster care but desperately wants to find herself a family to call her own. She currently weighs 7kgs and can easily be scooped up for cuddles and kisses; which are her absolute favourite!

Macy deserves a loving, fun family who are eager to bring a puppy home and create a fantastic environment for Macy to grow up in. A family who will include her in family activities, allow her to sleep inside and give her the best start to life. She needs this family to take her to puppy classes and follow through with obedience training to ensure she is given the best opportunity to meet new people and interact with other dogs of all shapes and sizes.
Macy loves to play and her favourite game is tug of war. She sleeps indoors throughout the night beautifully and has almost completely mastered her toilet training. She is a confident puppy, happy to meet new people and explore new things. She is ready to take on the world with a confident, vivacious personality.

It is our estimate that she will grow to be a medium to large size dog. Although we don’t know exactly what breed mixture Macy is, it is safe to say she is a gorgeous, loving puppy that at such a young age, will thrive in a family where she can learn and grow with.
Macy is currently experiencing the puppy teething stage and will continue to do so for the next few months. Therefore her new family members will need to be patient and use positive distraction and redirect her to toys. This may be a consideration for families with young children.
Macy is located in the Newcastle area and is available to leave for her new home at 10 weeks of age. Her adoption fee is $650 and she’s hoping she doesn’t need to wait too long!

Times are tough right now. Rescue hasn’t experienced a time like this before.
Adoptions are the slowest we have ever seen in the almost 8 years we have operated.
Surrenders are at the highest peak and pounds are desperately calling needing help with their capacity being reached so fast.

Right now, our animal numbers in care may not seem like much, but we are only a team of merely a handful now.
We have dogs who have been in care for over 12 months, coming up to 12 months or for 6 months. With adoptions averaging 12-16 weeks of a dog in care before being adopted.

Two puppies left in our litter of hand raised 7. With no applications pending for either boy. Bary pictured below being one of them.

Long term dogs who are nervous with people struggling to even have a glimpse of notice.
If you’re searching for a new family member, please think of the long term dogs in care.
The rescues who are struggling for space.

PUPPY FARMING BILL JUST PASSED UPPER HOUSE!!!

Despite a huge campaign from an industry that didn’t want regulations, the majority of the Upper House today voted to end the cruel practice of puppy farming.

Puppy farming is the intensive factory farming of dogs for a pet trade industry.

Sadly, Oscar of Oscar's Law passed away recently. Oscar spent the first 5 years of his life in a puppy farm, but his life truly began when he was rescued by Debra Tranter the founder of Oscar’s Law. He inspired the campaign to end puppy farming in Victoria – and I dedicate today’s step forward in his memory.

Oscar, we will ban puppy farming in NSW as well- mark my words!

"Today I found this kid tied up with a bag next to him that had his things. I didn't think if I have space, if I have a job, what my husband will say or come on baby let someone else do it. I just took him, I told him it's okay that he is scared, that I understand and that everything will be fine. I am sharing the photo so everyone can see the look of terror, sadness and shock in his eyes. The animal is in shock just like a human child would be.
Today we will become a family. I hope our hug heals this traumatic experience"

Imagine being loved like that by a human

For 6 years, a dog named Capitan slept in the grave of his owner every night.
His owner, Miguel Guzman died in 2006 and Capitan disappeared shortly after the family attended the funeral services.
They searched everywhere and put out flyers to try and find him. But no one had seen him.
A week later, some people who were at the cemetery late one evening spotted Capitan laying on the grave and they contacted the grounds keeper at the cemetery.
The cemetery notified the family who promptly came to pick him up and take him home.
But each night he would cry and scratch frantically at the door to go out and he wouldn't return home until morning.
It was later discovered that Capitan would walk the 3 miles back to the cemetery each night to guard his master's grave.
It happened for 7 years.
The cemetery did not close the gates until he arrived each night promptly at 6 pm.
He slept there all night guarding the grave until the ground keeper opened the gate in the morning.
This is a true picture of Capitan here.
