Hi Community I'm Kerry & I have a rescue plight, desperately needing support to save the life of Ricky a 9 year old Stallion pony.

His home for most of his life has been lonely in a dry and sandy paddock! Relying mostly on passing neighbours for food.

Stay tuned there will be updates on his progress and I am supporting Sabine to raise the Sanctuary Profile and create some amazing retreats in the near future.

Ricky travelled so well thanks to Kevin Hoskin and will be so happy at the Souls and Stars Sanctuary where Sabine and all the animal friends will welcome him to the family.

A meridian and chakra session with Ricky, myself and the lovely Fiona Adams. It was such a profound experience being so connected to this little guy, the trust we have is truly amazing and I've totally enjoyed working with him and learning heaps and understanding his language.

Such a blessing I feel very grateful to care for this cheeky bu**er!

I do love the birds when I see Ricky. Such a beautiful morning today. Recovery is going well, he's back to his cheeky self, eating a tonne!! And now we are preparing for relocating in the coming weeks.

🦘 Wildlife warrior and ⚠️traffic controller this morning.!!
Saved this guy by lowering the fence, I noticed him stuck on my side of the paddock since yesterday.

Then was on the road with heavy trucks 🚛coming past coz his little legs couldn't jump the fence of the paddock on the other side 🤦‍♀️
He made it safely!

The recovery Day 2.. Ricky has been very low energy, subdued and definitely not himself. He's not eaten and their no antibiotics or pain killers either.

I was worried and so called the vets..
💯the wound area and inflammation is very good. 👍
😢 but there's a respiratory infection which is why he's so unwell, my poor boy.

He had a dose of meds and some fluid via tubing in his nose, and then got a blood nose from the tubing.

By the time I left him this evening he perked up and was tasting some veggies and enjoying some grass.

Tomorrow is a new day. 💖💖💖

He is recovering well, a bit doey, moving well, all is good! I put the harness on today and have him a walk around. Lots of cuddles and pats today ❤

So today was a special day...
I put the rope on Ricky and with the help of Kevin we easily put the harness on Ricky.
He was such a good boy, easily compliant with us and was loaded cuddles from the pony. I didn't realise he was actually just a big sook!

Dr Jack and Louise from Baldivis Vet Hospital were amazing a did a brilliant job with Ricky's castration today. Thank you team.

Ricky was a sleepy boy waking up there was no stress and he's happy recovering in a smaller grassy paddock.
He even has his hooves filed...a hoofi-cure .😆

A massive part of the mission accomplished today.
So grateful for all of the support.

My friend visits me every Wednesday and Fridays and has done for the past couple years. I'm so lucky people with kind hearts love me.

What Ricky doesn't know is he touches all of us with his cheekiness, his openness to be loved and his capacity to learn.

Im always happy to see my ma, although I'm a little impatient at times! Today I had more training, I'm still getting used to the lead rope over my head. But I've learnt more and know I'll get there soon.

Love this guy 💖🥰💖🥰
