It never ceases to amaze me when you watch corals feed especially species like scoly and desh which make amazing transformations in the presence of food. In this video a desh has been fed some reef roids and it has extended its feeding tentacles and secreted a mucus substance to trap the food and it’s slowly drawing the food and mucus into its mouth which is fully open exposing the digestive filaments. In an hour or two this guy will puff up beautifully as he digests his morning meal 🙂
