About Bear
Beautiful Bear is searching for the person he will spend the rest of his life with!

Bear is a friendly fella who will be the perfect companion for anyone who wants their dog to be their best friend. He would much prefer to be by his person's side and tag along on their adventures than to be left at home alone. He does enjoy playing with other dogs, but is best suited to being the only pet in his new home.

As he is still a spring chicken at 3 1/2 years of age, Bear still has a lot of energy, and will thrive with an active owner who will provide him with both mental and physical exercise.

Bear can get quite jumpy and mouthy at times, so will need an adult-only home.

Meet Lucky, a sweet and handsome boy who's made incredible progress in his two weeks with his foster family! He's already learned to sit, shake, and lay down, all thanks to his love of treats and his eagerness to learn. Lucky enjoys simply sitting quietly by your side and is not a runner, making him great with gates and outdoor spaces. He's fantastic with kids and other dogs, and his leash training is going wonderfully. Lucky is ready to find a forever family to share his love and loyalty with!-

SPECIAL HUMAN WANTED
Yesterday, we had some animals surrendered to us as their owner is not returning home from hospital 😭
One of them, a lovely black female cat, is 14 years old!
We are told that she has been an inside/outside cat and she has grown up around dogs and is fine with other cats.
We have had her checked by the vet and all her vet work brought up to date.
If you can share your heart with a senior kitty, this little love would be so happy. She is listed on her microchip as "oriental cross."
At the moment, she is quite thin and does need some extra loving. She is obviously missing her human, and we would like to get her settled as soon as possible.
Please consider helping this girl.

ALFIE ADOPTION
G’day everyone, my name is ‘Alfie’ and I’m a 4½-year-old desexed male purebred Chocolate Labrador (whew, that was a mouthful 🤣).

I’m a lovely boy and I just adore hoomans, including the little ones. I’m super friendly and would love a family to adore and play with. I’d really do well on a property and because I’m loyal, I promise I wouldn’t roam far from home.

I’ve been told I’m a bit of a boof-head and super goofy – but I really appreciate guidance and will look at you with my big round soft eyes seeking direction and approval.

I’ve lived on a semi-rural property, but have never been trained or socialised with other dogs, which means I’m now fearful of them and I do get stupidly reactive. Plus, because I’ve been used as a breeding dog I have a very sexy swagger about me, which other male dogs don’t like and react badly to.

I’m pretty good with small dogs and spent some time with little Angeji the Basenji the other day who I initially lunged and growled at fearfully. She was so patient with me and just kept hanging around! Eventually I realised she wasn’t a threat and I even got to lie down next to her, enjoying and contemplating life.

I’ve also shared my property with a cat.

If you’re looking for a sweet playful boy who could hang out on your property and not necessarily be taken to places where there are other scary dogs, I would love you forever... and I know for certain that you would love me right back.

🩷💙URGENT FOSTER CARER IN SYDNEY OR CANBERRA.
REMEMBER these two dear little Foxies who were dumped at Box Hill Vet clinic for euthanasia? sadly the foster carer that we had for them has backed out; we are now looking for another carer for them. The little boy (14) is not well, he has a heart murmur and has now been put on heart meds, he also has a collapsing trachea that is causing him to cough, he is on medication which should make a big difference to him over the next few days. The little girl is happy and healthy she is only 4 -7 years old. They are bonded however if we have to separate them to find a foster home we will. They are both staying at Box Hill Vet Clinic until we can find a carer for one or both.

💙UPDATE: This morning, I spoke to the vet clinic and received more details. The older dog is 14 years old, has a tooth root abscess, and a grade 3-4 heart murmur. He is undesexed, and it appears he has not seen a vet for a long time. All necessary treatments will be provided at the clinic. The little girl, who seems to have had several litters, is only 7 years old. She will receive the usual vet care while at the clinic. I have requested that both dogs have a nice bath when the staff have a moment.

🩷I would like to extend my gratitude to the vet nurse who took the call from the previous owner. She was shocked and upset by the owner's apparent lack of concern. This nurse has been very kind to these little dogs and was the one who contacted me yesterday morning to take them in. We can never say no to dogs in such dire situations.

🩷💙Today, two little dogs were abandoned at a vet clinic in NSW for euthanasia simply because their owners no longer wanted them. These darlings deserve so much better. One of them has a heart murmur and will undergo a cardiac ultrasound, followed by medication as soon as possible. Both will receive necessary vet care before being taken into a loving environment. At least tonight, they will sleep warm and cosy. I’ll speak with the vet tomorrow to get more information on their condition.

Actual contact with other dogs has been very limited whilst in foster care. (he is currently residing with another dog who he gets along very well with) but it is unsure if he’ll get along with all dogs.
