West Coast Axolotls rescue

Hey everyone, due to medical reasons I took a step back from breeding our lovely bloodlines this year we usually breed each year and have spent time and our own money this year rehabilitating surrendered axolotls to rehome and as we all know it takes time to find axies good homes or raise from babies large enough to rehome so we’ve decided now we have tank spaces although we specialise in axolotls we also have plenty of tanks available for any aquatic surrenders that may be ill or need rehoming so we might be changing our name to “West Coast Aquatics rescue” for the time being so we can reach a larger population looking for a rescue to help the animals they no longer can look after.

We will breed again in the near future but for now we’re mostly looking for forever homes for healthy surrendered axolotls and other aquatic animals

This is one nights worth of poo from a rescue we received there’s about 6 baby mystery snail shells that have made there way out thank god they came out and the axie is still happy.

This is why we don’t recommend having gravel or snails in the same tank as your axolotl this can cause a intestinal blockage quicker then you think and cause serious harm to your animal.

Here’s one of the surrenders we rehabilitated after being bullied by another axolotl and having limb damage now happy and being cheeky.

I’m slowly putting together a easy to read e book for parents and children regarding everything from Tank conditions,Diet,Potential illness, Treatments etc and I will also be adding all of that too this pages files so anyone can quickly get access to information and further research before purchasing a axolotl so keep an eye out for that.
