Ok so we feel like we need to remind a few people that we are also human beings and that we run a small business!
This week we have received almost $800 in last minute cancellations, people not wanting to pay their invoices or expecting refunds despite our team showing up for the job.
Starting today we will now be introducing a new range of fees and new policy for all future bookings.
1. Bookings will be required to be paid for at the time of booking. You will be provided with an invoice immediately which requires payment before we can schedule you.
2. If one of our team members attends the booking and the client chooses not to proceed with the walk, all monies paid will be forfeited. (We apologise but it’s not fair for our team to not get paid for the time they have spent attending your booking).
3. Cancellations of bookings must be provided 7 days beforehand. Failure to provide 7 days notice will result in a 50% cancellation fee.
Bookings cancelled within 72 hours will not be provided with a refund.
4. Late payments will incur a 7.31% late payment interest charge.
5. The “Asshole” clause -
If you abuse us, act aggressive towards us, insult us on a personal level or continue to belittle our business, team or the way we operate then you will now be charged an “asshole fee” of 7.25% of your invoice total.
We are all human beings as well, we have feelings, we have a business to run, and we don’t appreciate how nasty people can become. If you choose to cancel a booking, do not belittle us or insult us, because this type of behaviour WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!
All clients are to treat myself and my team with the respect that we show you. We do not rock up to your home, insult your home, insult the way you look after your pets or insult you for being who you are; so show us the same respect in return!
We apologise if this comes across offensive or rude, but we have had enough of the constant muck arounds and unfortunately like always, it’s the minority that ruin it for the majority.
