💡 Did you know?
Bringing Torvi to Australia was no small journey.
After her rabies test returned negative, Torvi was required to live in a Category 3 country (the UK) for a minimum of 180 days. She couldn’t even have that blood test until she was at least 3 months old.
Once that hurdle was cleared, we then faced a 3-month wait just to secure a spot in the Australian Quarantine Facility, booked out well in advance.
Midway through the process, the rules changed again, increasing quarantine on arrival from 10 days to 30 days. After the 30 days she had another flight across OZ from Melbourne to Perth.
Through every step, no expense or effort was spared when it came to Torvi’s health, welfare, and wellbeing.
She is truly something special, the founding dam of the Laizhou Hong in Australia, producing Australia’s very first litter in 2024, and now proudly expecting her second litter 🤍
