**UPDATE - Monkey saw her GP Vet yesterday. Her colon is now empty and she will continue on a laxative as needed. She is now on the correct antibiotic for her UTI (culture sensitivity came back) and is now eating and mixing with her ‘siblings’. She is definitely over the worst and improving each day. Thanks everyone for your wishes ♥️**
Our little girl is not well😢 She is currently in PVE (Emergency Vet Hospital) receiving the best of care. Please keep her in your thoughts❤️

Mum is posting a couple of days early (because she has to work on my birthday) to let you know that I am 7yrs old!! I have been happy and healthy and Mum can’t believe it’s seven years.
Today I’ve had a bath and am going to see my most favourite vet, just for a check up and to get some more meds.
Hoping everyone is happy and healthy and having an awesome 2023. Life is what you make it and we choose to be grateful♥️♥️♥️

'I'm veryyyyy sneaky.... First i pretend Im sleepy, Then i pretend i'm just chilling.. Then i pretend to start grooming myself. But THEN, when mum's least expecting it... I ATTACK.... GRRRRRR Tomorrow I get to have a sleep over at my Aunty Kyleighs house... we are going to have a 'Game of Thrones marathon' she said... i love games.. but i hate exercise.. so im not sure how thats gonna work out" xox Monkey xox

Hi everyone, Here is a little reminder of the determination of Monkey. Even though she has a massive disability (which she doesn't even realize she has) just watch this short clip. Its so representative of everything that she has done so far. If there is a hurdle, she will climb it. If there are pants getting in the way of where she wants to go.... She'll climb those too ;-) Unfortunately our GoFundMe page has hit a slight wall... Just a slight hurdle.. but like Monkey, we will climb it. To all of those who have liked, shared, posted and even donated, THANK YOU.. But if there is a reason that has stopped us, maybe work was busy, maybe we don't know how, maybe we forgot.. So many reasons... Maybe we can give it a shot now? We are over a 3rd of the way to our goal but we just need to keep persevering. Would you mind please posting again, sharing again, or donating a few bucks to keep Monkey on her road to recovery. A trip down memory lane... Even though milk wasn't the best for me and gave me um.... well you know... it was also the only thing that my first human could get for me. We lived 8 hours drive from the nearest vet and we were so remote, we were lucky to even get this formula. Although it made my tummy funny, it also gave me the strength I needed to survive.. When we look back at this video, everyone wonder's how I didn't die from 'Fading Kitten Syndrome'... Maybe it's because we had never heard of it so we didn't even consider giving up? Maybe it's because I'm a monkey and not a kitten ;-) I was so lucky.. I'm happy to say that now I'm on proper kitten food, my little poops are the cutest little nuggets in the world (that's what my mum calls them...'nuggets' - which always makes me giggle)
I have to warn you my amazing friends and family... This may just make you fall more in-wuv wif me!!! Look at my little face! This was while I was on my 800km journey to Alice Springs. Wow oh wow what a desert!!!
