Offering a exquisite grooming salon and boutique doggy daycare, especially made for you and your furbaby. It all started with our two gorgeous Sh

iba Inu puppies (well OK they are not puppies anymore, but shhh don’t tell anyone). Marishi, we call her Ishi, and Akatsuki, whom we refer to this little man as Suki, came and turned our lives around. Their love, vibrant personality, and cheeky mischievous energy became infectious and before we knew it we didn’t want to spend a second without them, and that’s where our problem started. We found it very difficult to find a place in Perth where we would be happy to take Ishi & Suki. We wanted to create a paradise for them, where the idea of FurBaby began! We wanted to create a different place; somewhere where your furbaby is a welcomed part of our family and will be completely adored by our staff.

🐾💔 Today, with heavy hearts, we share some deeply saddening news from the FurBaby family. It’s hard to believe that ten years ago, FurBaby was created out of pure love for our furry companions. We wanted to build a safe, nurturing space that felt just as special as the bond we share with our dogs. Among the early pups who inspired us to bring this vision to life was Zedd, a beloved member of our family who holds a special place in our hearts.

Zedd has been a constant source of joy for all of us, and we owe so much to Rachel, our incredible manager, who has devoted the last decade to caring for him and ensuring he feels loved every single day. Today, we received the devastating news that Zedd has been diagnosed with terminal prostate cancer. This is a heart-wrenching reality for all of us, especially for Rachel, who is now faced with the challenge of making Zedd’s final days as joyful and comfortable as possible.

In the coming weeks, Rachel will shower Zedd with all the treats he adores and plenty of cuddles, creating beautiful memories to cherish forever. Zedd has touched the hearts of countless people in our community, and we know many of you have formed a special bond with him over the years. If you’d like to come by and say your goodbyes, we welcome you to visit. Your love and support would mean the world not only to Zedd but also to Rachel during this incredibly difficult time.

As we navigate this heartache together, we want to remind everyone how precious the time we have with our fur babies truly is. Zedd, you have brought so much joy and love into our lives, and we will always hold you close in our hearts. Thank you for being a part of the FurBaby family, and for the countless memories that will last a lifetime. 🐶❤️

🎉🎉 Celebrating 10 Incredible Years of FurBaby! 🎉🎉

It’s hard to believe that it’s been 10 whole years since we took the leap and opened FurBaby. It was Boxing Day 2014 that we opened the door, and we are so proud to be able to say we’re still going strong in 2024. A huge accomplishment for any small business.

We fully renovated our building, with a dream of creating a special place for our four-legged friends and their owners. From that beginning, we’ve come so far and accomplished so much — and we couldn’t be more proud of how far we’ve come with the love and support from YOU, our incredible customers, staff, and furry family members!

When we opened the doors to Australia's first dog cafe with a commercial kitchen, we were determined to create a space where both humans and dogs could relax, bond, and enjoy delicious treats together. What began as just a cozy spot to hang out quickly blossomed into so much more and a huge like minded community. We expanded to offer a full-service pet store, grooming, dog daycare, and even a dog treat barkery, where we whipped up homemade treats for your beloved pups. It was the start of something special, and we were absolutely thrilled to see our vision coming to life.

We took the Covid crisis of 2020 to pivot and focus our energy to one of Perth’s premium dog grooming salons and small dog daycares.

Our grooming salon has continued to offer exceptional care for our furry friends. From the tiniest puppies to the fluffiest of dogs, we’ve had the joy of seeing so many pups leave looking their very best. 💇‍♂️🐾

And of course, we couldn't forget about the cutest small dog, doggy daycare, where our beloved little clients have a safe, cozy space to play, rest, and make new friends. 🐶💖

None of this would have been possible without the amazing support we've received over the 10 years. To our loyal customers — thank you for trusting us with your precious pets, for allowing us to be a part of their lives, and for supporting a small, local business with such heart. 🫶 Your belief in us has made all the difference.

🎅🐾 We're over the moon to announce that FurBaby Santa Paws is officially DONE and DUSTED for another year, and it was a paws-itively incredible success! 🎉✨ We are so thankful and grateful to each and everyone of you for supporting our small business with enough interest to come back after having two years off!

A massive THANK YOU to all the furry friends, their humans, and all the other adorable animals who joined us. Over 1,058 photos were taken, capturing hundreds of happy faces—dogs, birds, cats, rabbits, and more! 🐶🐱🐰🐦

And last, but certainly not least, a massive thank you to our amazing team of 12 outstanding people who just made the magic happen!
