We are moving house within the next couple of weeks, which brings chaos on so many levels! 😅

Unfortunately, this will mean some changes to my run. I have had to make the difficult decision to cut out some of my service areas. Having to travel 45 mins - 1 hr to get to some of the areas I currently service, is undoable. There will be some clients I will have to sadly say goodbye to 😭 I will contact everyone individually if you have been affected by this change and work with you to try and help find a lovely groomer in your area. This move will also mean I will likely begin to schedule my run a little differently, so there may be some slight changes to normal 4, 6, 8 weekly schedules for a few weeks.

We are closed for the remainder of school holidays, while we attempt a very wet break with 5 kids down in Murwillumbah! 🥴😅 We will have limited phone reception, so all messages and phone calls will be responded to when we return. Have a lovely week with your beautiful pups and I will see you all from Monday 15th onwards 🐾

A big week of desheds this week and my little trailer has seen a huuuuuuge amount of hair!

6 Border Collies.
3 German Shepherds.
2 Husky's.
2 Labs.
1 Bernese Mountain Dog.

With the change of seasons comes change of hair - lots of it! Regular bath and blow dry's and full deshedding when necessary, will help your dog stay healthy and happy and decrease your vacuuming time 😊

Did you know, you don't need to be home for your pets appointment. Many clients trust me with keys/codes/entry into yards and houses. All I need is access to a power point and outside tap. I will ensure your pup is safely put away afterwards, everything is all locked up and I'll send a text to confirm I'm leaving the property ❤️

Compacted undercoat can be uncomfortable, lead to matting, hide skin or health issues and make it difficult for dogs to regulate their temperature. If you have a double coated breed, regular desheds or bath and blow dry's will ensure your dog stays in top condition.

Today we are meant to reach a whopping 37 - 39 degrees! It is already sitting at 26 degrees, at 6.30am. Dog's can overheat very quickly and it can be easy to miss the signs - please keep them in out of the heat, where possible - no walks today and lots and lots of water.

For the safety of your pups there will be no apts today. We are back to normal operating hours from tomorrow onwards 😊🥵

We are officially closed for 2023!

It's been a huge year of ups and downs, for everyone. So many of you have expressed to me recently that you can't wait for the year to end and I have shared your feelings on more than a few occasions! We made it! 🥰 Thank you so much to my amazing regular clients for your ongoing support and welcome to the new clients who have jumped on board over the last few months, I appreciate you all so much and look forward to spending time with you and your beautiful pups next year.

We will be back on the road on Jan 3rd - currently Jan is fully booked, we have some availability from mid Feb onwards.

The next 2 weeks leading up to Christmas are crazy! Some days I will be grooming up to 15 dogs, as well as the driving in-between. All confirmations for the next 2 weeks, as well as the first week back after New Year, will be sent out today. So, just a few small favours to ask:

If you can no longer be home for a scheduled apt, pleeeeaaaase let me know asap so I can offer the spot to someone else, or rearrange my run as needed.

Please be aware that arrival times are an estimate. At this crazy time of year, it is very possible that I won't arrive bang on time.

Please understand that I won't be able to make adjustments to bookings at this time of year - if you have booked for a bath, or a bath and tidy, but when I arrive you ask for a full groom, I will be unable to add on the extra time to change this.

Thank you to all clients who have happily shuffled apts over the next couple of days to allow me to keep your pups safe...all blow dry's will be done early in the morning before it gets too hot. Towel dried dogs have been moved to later in the day. All pups are looooving their cooler baths! 🥰

You'd be forgiven for thinking it was snowing in Petrie!! Alaska is a 12 year old Husky that was recently adopted by her lovely owners, so without knowledge of her background, we could only assume this was the first groom she had had in a long time. In true Husky form, her coat covered the trailer....the neighbours yards...the street....and I'm still picking hair out of my eyelashes days later 😁

Soooo relaxing....can't....keep....eyes....open...☺
